Shane felt the warmth of her body as it lay across his chest, wrapping his strong arms around her to keep her even closer. She was like his own personal tiny little heater blanket. He rested his chin on the top of her head as the movie played on, resisting the urge to humm along with the theme music. That would have definitly thrown off his cool. Every once and a while- when she kissed him he grinned until she leant up to kiss him again. She was a sweet girl, and he could tell that all she wanted was some love and affection. The love would take a bit, but the affection and care he was more than willing to hand out for her.
He laughed as he heard her stomach growl, letting go of his grip around her and watching as she walked around to the kitchen. His hand shot up to catch the beer she was tossing him, setting it on the table un-opened in case of any explosion that could ensue.
"Jesus- we buy all this stuff to make dinner and it takes us an hour and a half just to get to that step." He laughed, looking at her thin blonde frame from the sofa. Even though she had told him to stay put, he felt bad, watching her working away there without help. This was his apartment afterall, he could be up there helping.
"I'm alive." He laughed, getting up off his ass and taking a moment to stretch himself out. He rolled his neck, waiting for it to crack before he walked out into the kitchen. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and watched as she did her magic little cooking thing- thank god for her. It'd probably have been pizza night for him if she wasn't around. Either that or Chinese.
"How are you?" He asked, resting his cheek on her shoulder as he looked up at her pretty face.
