The Wreck Room was by far one of Scarlett's favorite places to be when she had enough free time on her hands. And at the moment, free time was exactly what she had. The place was cozy, welcoming, and depending on whose shift it was at the bar, she could usually get a drink even though she was only 19. The whole place with its old brick walls and band posters was just very inviting. And it had a nice smell. That was important. Although it wasn't the fanciest of places, Scarlett found that the music was usually quite good, and she liked watching aspiring artists. They were much more friendly than the snobby seasoned musicians and actors that wanted nothing to do with their fans. And Scarlett was almost always garuanteed a good time at the Wreck Room. There was usually somebody knew there that was interesting, that she could get to know. Scarlett had no rules about how many new friends she could make in one night, after all.
It had taken her awhile to drive to the Wreck Room. Traffic was bad at this time on a Friday night, and the place was a little more crowded than usual. People were obviously very keen on relaxing after a long work week. Scarlett herself was very glad that it was finally the weekend. Sometimes the days seemed to drag on forever. As she stepped into the Wreck Room, a blast of sights and smells and sounds hit her. There was a band playing on the tiny little stage already; they must have started early tonight due to the large amount of people. People were milling around, some sitting at the bar, others sitting at the scattered tables around the room. There were a few couches back in the corner that were also occupied. It would be an interesting night.
Scarlett was wearing some simple black pants, a blouse, and her shiny red jacket. She had also added a hat to her outfit, and she felt all ready for a night at the Wreck Room. With a smile already coming to her features, Scarlett weaved her way through the room to the bar. Sitting down on one of the bar stools, she flashed the bartender her biggest smile. "Hi David," she said brightly. "Can you get me the usual?" The bartender nodded, with a grudging smile, and passed her the drink over the counter after she paid. Yes, she still had a pay. Thanking him, Scarlett turned around and surveyed the room, sipping her drink. [/blockquote]
