Snuggling up against the corner of the couch, Anna held a tiny paper bag in her hand. Her fingers ran up and down the ridged opening while her eyes strayed to the glass door only a few feet away from her. Blonde hair was pulled loosely in a ponytail at the back of Anna's head, though strands managed to sneak through and fall at all angles near her cheekbones. She looked relaxed and comfortable; not in the least stressed or thinking about an important date in the future. Today was today and she was taking it one minute at a time -- it was a nice adjustment.
Anna looked back down when she didn't see any familiar faces walking into the Coffee Bean. She was expecting to meet Dougie - the two hadn't spent time together recently because of finals and the usual busy events surrounding the end of school. However, today was the second day of summer vacation and Anna insisted on meeting up with him. They weren't necessarily attached at the hip, but Anna considered him to be one of her closest friends. She was more than willing to spill out her frustrations or excitement when she was around him; she hoped he felt the same in her company.
Pulling back the paper bag opening, Anna cautiously reached inside and pulled out a small piece of coffee cake. Leaning back in the chair and getting comfortable, she put the bite in her mouth and waited for her friend. OOC: I wanted that to be longer but I'm exhausted and ready for bed. =P

Looking at his clock, Dougie smiled softly and stood up, he was supposed to meet Anna in a few minutes but he still needed to get ready. He looked like he had just come back from a long rugby game, which he had just done. He ran a hand through his sweaty hair and walked into the bathroom, undressing, and turning on the shower before stepping into the hot water. His muscles relaxed as he felt the hot water run down his muscular and tense body, he really needed this shower. Dougie shook his head a bit before looking up and running his hands over his face, washing off all of the sweat. He was looking forward to meeting up with Anna; he always got a really happy vibe when he was around her. However, he knew that he shouldn't have these feelings for her, seeing as she was with Teddy and all. He could never go after one of his friends girl friends, it's just not like him.
Once he had finished, he walked out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist, walking out of the bathroom and looking around his messy dorm for a clean shirt and pants. He picked up a brown 'Bullet For My Valentine' t-shirt and sniffed it, shrugging, he put it on. He walked over to his drawers and pulled out a pair of blue boxers, slipping them on before looking for a pair of jeans; once he had found those, he slipped them on, one leg at a time. He took a look in the mirror before walking back into the washroom, picking up his towel and towel drying his hair. He opened his drawer and pulled out his gel, he ran it through his hair to style it the way he liked it, over his face.
Dougie took one more look in the mirror before giving himself a toothy smile and heading out of his dorm. He hadn't seen Anna in a while and it would be great to catch up with her; seeing as they were so close. He also really needed a coffee and he was happy that she had chosen the 'Coffee Bean' to meet up with him, at the moment.
Slipping his hands into his pockets, he walked down the streets, looking every which way to see how far, or close, the 'Coffee Bean' was. Dougie wasn't a very patient person and he liked things to be done right as they were asked. He sighed to himself softly but sm,iled when he saw the big sign that showed him that he was close to his destination. He jogged over to the little coffee shop and opened the door, looking around for Anna, he smiled when he spotted her. Dougie walked over to her and sat down, smiling, "Hey, long time no see." he said in his thick, english accent, "How're things in the world of Anna?" he added, still giving her that toothy smile. He was always happy around her, he had no idea why.
OutofControl;; That was crap. xD [/color][/blockquote]

A broad smile crossed her lips when she saw her friend walk into the coffee shop. Putting her brown paper bag on the short stand near her chair, Anna returned his grin and leaned over to give him a brief hug. A strand of hair fell in her face but she brushed it aside without much thought before adjusting back into her own chair.
Nimble fingers returned to the stand to pick up the bag that held her coffee cake. Shaking her head ever so slightly, she smiled to herself and turned to face the tall man sitting beside her. She had always disliked her name, assuming it wasn't fancy enough or brilliant enough to catch any attention. However, she loved when Dougie spoke it in his thick accent. It was much more throaty, more elegant. Then again, everything sounds better in an English accent.
"Wonderful," she exclaimed with a smile to light up the room. Pulling her foot up to rest on the edge of the chair, her knee just barely gracing her chin, she added, "School is out, I think I passed all my exams and I get to start taking the real theatre classes now." Her blue eyes danced with thrilled excitement at the thought of leaving general education courses behind. "Life is good."
With a grin, she cocked her head to the side and said, "You look great. I feel like I haven't talked to you in ages." Her eyes widened and her brows lifted; her expression was genuinely sad. She had missed spending time with all of her friends, even Teddy, but exams took priority when May rolled around. At least now it was over and she could socialize for a few weeks before heading back to Tennessee for a month.
"How does it feel to be out of school for the summer?" she asked, the same smile on her small face. "Feeling old yet?" she jested with gleaming eyes. The two students were the same age, but Anna loved to poke and tease with the best of them. Of course, her intentions were never crude or harsh in any form or fashion. She was perhaps the most politely playful person on the face of the planet. Anna would never press harm on anyone intentionally.

Dougie wrapped his arms around Anna's tiny waist to give her a brief and tight hug. He sat back down and looked at her flawless face, it was so beautiful, so angelic; he really was starting to fall for his bestfriends girlfriend. This started to worry him, he wanted to tell Anna that he liked her, but he didn't want to ruin their friendship and he certainly didn't want to betray Teddy. He ran his hand through his blond hair and smiled at her, trying to figure out what he should do. However, he figured it would be better for him not to worry about it now and just figure it out later.
Dougie smiled his brilliant smile and laned back on the chair, looking at her but then looking towards the window. He sighed softly and looked back at Anna, smiling again, "That's great, I'm so happy for you, Anna." he said and raised an eyebrow, "How about you and Teddy, how are the two love birds?" he asked, obviously trying to make it sound as jokingly as possible. Although, he was really quite intrested in how Anna and Teddy were doing, just in case the opportunity arose.
Dougie shrugged and looked at her, "Meh, I look okay, you on the otehr hand..." he grinned and chuckled softly, "Well, Miss Anna, you always look amazing." he commented and winked softly. He sighed, "Man, you have no idea how good it feels to get back out into the real world, I swear to god, exams are like energy suckers." he said and laughing at how stupid that must have sounded. Dougie laughed and looked at Anna, "It feels great though, I love summer." he added and looked into Anna's eyes, "No, not yet..." he joked and moved his leg, wincing, "Aw damn, there goes my hip." he joked and laughed.
