Riley hadn't much time for anything lately. Dancing pretty much took up most of his time so he felt like he was neglecting his friends. Especially Eve. She had call him at least three times to see how he was doing and he was just too tired to answer the phone. He has been going to bed early so that he could wake up early. They were have a big test on a dance and Riley although he was a good dancer wasn't getting the moves right at all. This was his grade and he couldn't really afford to fail so he drop everything and everyone. So he decided to give his friend, no his best friend Eve a call and ask her to meet him at Starbucks. He didn't know if she like the coffee but it was a really nice place where you could sit and talk.
Pulling his phone out of his pocket he open it up and went to her name and he press it. But he only got her answering machine so he just left her a message."Yo Eve, this is Riley just wondering if you could stop at the Starbucks and we can have a drink over a talk. I know I have been ignoring you and I am sorry but if you come I will be so ever grateful and it will make my day. You know you want to, I will even buy.Hanging up the phone he walked to his car getting in it and driving off to Starbucks. Hopefully she would get his message and meet him there, if not he would try to catch up with her later. He really hope that she would come because he feels that he is pushing her away and he doesn't want to lose her as a friend.

Evelyn had crashed at the party she bad been at last night and she awoke next to a guy that she did not even remember. She blinked a bit as she lifted the covers to see that she was naked. "Oh. My. God." she said as she grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around her as she got up and grabbed her clothes that were laying on the floor. "I'm so fucking stupid." she shrieked as the guy she'd slept with had gotten up. "Whats wrong baby? Why you leaving so soon?" he said and gave her a smirk as she just looked at him in disgust and threw a pillow at him.
Evelyn had to admit that she was becoming a whore and she hated it. She used to be such a nerdy girl that was obsessed with her grades. Oh what happened to that Evelyn? Oh yes let me think it was college and moving far far away from her home town. Her grades were slipping and it seemed all she cared about was partying and all the bad things that came with it. She ran off to the bathroom with her clothes in hand. She quickly went in to the bathroom and change in to her black strapless top and the pair of denim jeans that clung tight to her slender legs.
She searched her purse for her eyeliner and mascara as she quickly lined her eyes with black mascara as she looked at herself in the mirror and saw the girl that she didn't want to become. She shook away those thoughts as she did her mascara and then shoved the items in to her purse. She felt her cell phone ringing as she flipped it open to see a message from Riley. She smiled happily as she stuffed it back in to her bag.
She hadn't heard from Riley in what seemed like forever and he was her best friend. She had been really worried about him especially because he'd been ignoring her calls which he'd never done before. She began to walk out of the house as she stepped over multiple beer cans and even passed out bodies. Her hair was a mess, she was a mess, but it didn't really matter she just wanted to see Riley.
She made her way to her car as she got in and started to drive to Starbucks.Soon enough she'd made it there and she stepped out of her car and walked towards the store. She wrapped her slender fingers around the door handle as she pulled it open and stepped in to smell the scent of coffee. She glanced around as she saw Riley her face brightened up and she walked towards him. "Hey." she said happily as she quickly ran up to him and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

Wrapping his arms around her he returned her hug. Gosh he didn’t want to hurt her because she was so small. He try not to squeeze so hard because he was so much bigger than she was. Pulling back a little bit her look into her eye, they were the most beautiful color that he had ever seen. Hearing her soft voice he greet her in return “ hey I was starting to think that you weren’t coming. But you’re here now and that is all that matters right.” he took his arms from around her and move back grabbing her hand in the process leading them to the cashier where they would order they coffee.
Looking over at her “so what you having. I recommended the white mocha chocolate” he said turning towards the lady at the counter and ordering his drink. Letting go of her hand he reached and his back pocket pulling out his wallet. Opening it up you would first see pictures of his family and behind those were pictures of his friends. He liked to keep the people that meant most to him close to his heart or more like bottom. Pulling out a twenty he handed it to the lady. He need that whatever she got it would be more than enough to cover it.
Coffee was one of Riley favorite things that is why he chose for them to met there. Being a college student and with all the dance classes he had Riley life was pretty much ran on caffeine. He could probably drink two pots a day, but recently he been trying to cut down because it causes him to have some very restless nights. But it help him get through the days, he didn’t know what he would do if he hadn’t had his coffee. He would probably be cranky and biting people heads off.
[sorry it sucks I know]

She smiled as she hugged him tightly and let her head rest against his chest. She'd missed Riley so much she had so much to tell him and she just couldn't wait. "I know I'm so sorry, I have so much to tell you." she said as she felt him grab her hand and lead her towards the register. She tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear as she looked at all the choices and then turned to him. "Um I'll take a double chocolate chip frapp." she said and looked at him and smiled. "Thanks so much. I owe you." she said and laughed a bit.
"I missed you so much best friend." she said as she wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him gently. "How have you been lately?" she asked as she leaned against the counter waiting for their drinks to arrive.
ooc| so my lack of creativity is killing me. i'm so sorry.

Hearing her tone he smile, he really did miss her. She was someone that he could always talk to about everything and he just felt that he was pushing her away and he didn’t want to do that. School was getting more hectic and his dance practices were taking a toll on him. He was surprise that he even made it but now things were calming down for him and so he decided that he should spent more time with his friends. “I know what you mean so much has happen to me, and I am sure that I miss a lot of what was going on with you.” he said while they walked towards the counter ordering their drinks next. Looking over her he smirked “look you don’t owe me anything, it is for me being such a jerk friend and ignoring you for the last week” which was true. He didn’t feel that he was being much of a friend to her but that was going to change.
“I missed you as well” he said hugging her again. Eve was always a touchy person so the hugs really didn’t bother him a bit in fact right now he really needed one. Not that anything bad was going on in his life he just needed a hug, and he sure she needed one as well. Hearing her voice again he tried to think of what he had been up to. Everything had been such a blur this whole weekend, the only thing that he probably remembers now is dancing. “well I been dancing non stop, we all know my dream to become a Broadway singer and dancer. What about you? How are things.” he asked her in a curious tone.

Riley was right Evelyn was a very touchy person. She loved hugging, kissing, and touching people but mostly boys of course. She'd also missed Riley after all he was her best friend and what could a girl really do with him her best friend for a week? She'd turned in to a total wreck but really that wasn't new news. She flashed him her pearly white smile as she nodded. "Aw I'm glad the dancing thing is working out for you. I knew it would." she said and smiled knowing that Riley was destined for great things someday.
She heard their names called out that their drinks was done as she walked over to go pick them up. She grabbed both of theirs and handed him his as she sipped on her double chocolate chip frapp. "So yummy." she said happily as her smile graced her face once more. "Well you know me just partying it up as usual." she said and let out a small laugh. "..not for the best though." she said and scrunched up her nose a bit. "..It's kind of pathetic for me too Riley." she said sadly as she pouted out her lower lip a bit.
She grabbed his arm and gently pulled him over towards a table near the window as she took a seat and waited for him to sit down. "So, tell me more about all this dancing and you know everything else in your life." she said as she let out a small laugh. The sugar was already getting to her. Oh god.

Gosh he miss her, when he was around Evelyn h always felt love, he felt like she was the truest friend that he had and that he could always depend on her. He hope that Eve felt the same way towards him, even though he really hadn’t been such a good friend to her lately. His week had been so pack but he could have taken five minutes out of his day to call her and just talk. Watching her smile crawl across her face and he heard her ask him how was dancing “you will never believe how amazing it has been, but it was so tiring. I barely have time for life or anything else. I am so tired after practice that I particular just crash when I get home” Riley told his friend.
Hearing there names being called out he walked behind her but picked up both of there drink handing him his and he watch as she took a sip of her of her coffee “I bet, the one that I have is good, I never tried anything else here, you can say that I am attached to it” he said taking a sip of his own coffee. Asking her how she was he got his answer, he knew what the answer was but he wanted to hear it from her. “It isn’t always for the best Eve, and Eve your not a pathetic. Don’t you ever say that again, your great. You just like to live your life” Riley said to her watching her pout slightly.
Feeling her grab his arm he walked with her sitting down next to her at the table that she choose for them. Placing his coffee on the table he heard her ask him a question he bite his lip “Well a lot of things have happen. I am going to be in a play soon. I bump into someone yesterday when I went to see Rent at Broadway for a homework. Hope, we are dating now. I mean she is an amazing girl. You should meet her one day” he said pausing realizing that he was talking to much “ what about you. Anything happen besides partying” Riley asked her.

"I met this guy Conor." she said as a smile graced her face. "..I've got a crush on him." she whispered like a little girl as she let out a small laugh. "I'd love to meet Hope, I'm sure you two are adorable together." she said with a small laugh as she smiled over at him. "I'm happy for you." she said and smiled once more. "..you know with your dancing and your girlfriend and all." she said and smiled as she took another sip of her frap. "..but yeah I've just been partying it up and studying you know the usual." she said and shrugged a bit as she smiled over at him. Her gaze wandered out the window as she watched the cars race by. She brushed a piece of loose hair from her face as she looked back at Riley. She really hadn't realized how much she'd missed him once he began to disappear in to his dancing life. She smiled over at him once more. "God I missed you so much Riley." she said as she hugged him tight before letting him go gently. "So, tell me about this Hope girl. She must be pretty special." she said with a nod of her head as she smiled over at him once more. The girl smiled all too much when inside she felt weak and torn up in to a million pieces. It's all about putting on a show for other people right? That's how Evelyn had been feeling. She hadn't been true to herself in the longest time and it was starting to take a toll on the small girl.

Hearing her talk about a boy he got excited for her, but not in a giddy girly way but in a I am so happy for my best friend way “so does he go to the same school as us, and where did you meet him” Riley asked being curious. Eve was more than just a friend to him, she was like his little sister. He always tried to protect her even when he knew he couldn’t. He just made sure that she knew that he would always be there for her. Hearing her say Hope name he smiled “yeah I know you two are going to get along well.” he said biting his lip slightly, he didn’t really know if they would get along. He just hope that they would.
Hearing her said that she was happy for him, make him feel relief. He didn’t know that her opinion matter that much to him. But it really did, she was always there for him for everything and what she thought of it meant a lot. “I know what you mean. I never really work this hard in my life before” Riley said kind of feeling proud of himself. He did work on his dancing but not to the extreme that he does now. He wants to become something big and to make it and not be a loser that wash out in their dancing career. “Cool you really need to take me with you. You always having fun and I am always dancing. Show me a good time. “ he said letting out a small laugh, but he wasn’t kidding.
His graze drop down to his coffee, he had almost forgetting that it was sitting there the whole time. Picking it up he took a sip and placed it back down. He suddenly feel two arms around him and he smiled licking his lips to get the coffee off of them. “I miss you too and I promise to spend more time with you then I use to” he said more promising it to himself. Hearing her asked about Hope he smiled, he tend to do that a lot when he was thinking of her “well she is a dancer, and I know her from back in high school. We had a bad pass. I wasted some pop on her shirt. She is really nice, pretty and sweet.” he said looking at her wondering why she was looking so sad. Raising his eyebrow “ Eve are you alright.” Riley asked in a concern tone.

"Well no he doesn't go to Rutherford. He's older. He lives in New York City." she said and gave him a soft smile not knowing how Riley would think of Christine with such an older guy. "..he's really sweet. I'm just not sure how things are going to go.." she said and let out a heavy sigh as she shrugged her shoulders a bit. She knew if Riley didn't approve of Conor that he was tell her maybe it isn't for the best and that she should try and find someone else and then it would become a huge ordeal and well Evelyn just didn't want to deal with that but she did respect what Riley had to say. She knew he was only looking out for her because he was like her older brother. As her thoughts raced back to Riley and Hope she smiled over at him seeing him so happy. "She must be a nice girl. I haven't seen you smile this much in a long time." she said with a soft laugh as she smiled over at him. She truly was happy for him and she couldn't wait to meet this Hope girl he spoke so highly of. "Oh I will. We need some Riley and Eve time because I surely do miss it." she said and laughed a bit as she smiled over at him. "You can keep me out of trouble." she said with a small laugh as she took another sip of her frapp. She glanced around the coffee shop tiredly as a yawn escaped her lips. "I'm glad you're so excited about your dancing. You'll have to give me a little performance sometime." she said and smiled at him once more. She glanced up as she heard him ask why she was so sad and she just shook her head. "Oh it's nothing." she said trying to reassure him even though she knew he was just going to see right through it. He knew her all too well. "It's nothing really." she said again as she took in a deep breathe. She could already feel the tears sting her eyes as she she tried to blink them away. She didn't want to cry - no not now.

“Oh I see, and how much older is he then you are” Riley said while playing with the bottom of his cup. He didn’t want her to get hurt, and Riley he knew all about older guys. They only wanted one thing, and after they got that then the toss the girl to the side like a piece of trash. That he didn’t want to happen to Eve, and if it did, you would be sure to know that Riley would do something about it. Seeing her smile he could tell that this guy, he meant a lot to her. “I am sure he is sweet, well he better be. And just don’t let him break your heart. Or else I am going to have to do something that we both don’t want to happen” he said giving her a soft smile. He would hate to see her get hurt because of what some stupid guy did to her, and he also wanted her to know that he was there for her, and will always be. Smiling again at her comment about him smiling “you make it sound like I never smile at all Eve” he said with a laugh “but yeah she is very important to me” he said knowing that he been having feelings for this girl for a while.
“yes more time for us. We have to do that. I mean what kind of friends will we be.” he said taking his arm and wrapping around her giving her a half hug. Riley he had many friends, more girls than guys, which got him the reputation for being a player. Even though half the girls that were his friends, he never even date. But of all his friends Eve was the best friend he knew, she was funny, sweet and smart when she wanted to be. Many people took her for granted and didn’t think highly of her but Riley would never think of her in that way. “sure of course and you can tell me what I am doing wrong, and tell me if something looks right.” he said knowing that getting critique from other people would improve his technique.
Seeing his friend look sad, he could tell that something was bothering her but he didn’t know what. Turning his body towards her he grabbed her hands “Oh come on Eve did you really think that was going to work with me. Tell me, I am here for you” he said in a sincere tone. “If it was nothing then you wouldn’t be looking the way you are, so it must obviously be something. I am not blinded you know” he said giving her hands a light squeeze.

"Well he's twenty one but really I don't know how things are going with us. We kind of got in to this major fight and I haven't talked to him for a few days.." she said and shook her head. "Things ended badly but he said he'd call me in a few days to talk to me about it. We're both so emotionally fucked up that it's hard for us you know?" she said as she bite on her lip. Just thinking of the fight that had happened really put her in a sour mood. She could feel the tears stinging at her eyes as one rolled down her cheek but her fingertip brushed it away before it ran down to her chin. She knew that Riley had seen right through her little act of every thing is okay because well the boy was her best friend and knew her way better then that.
She felt her grab a hold of her hands as she looked down at them. "I-It's just the fight and that I got drunk and some guy took advantage of me last night and that I can't seem to hold one relationship at all.." she said and shook her head knowing her friendships were the only thing holding the poor girl together otherwise she'd be nothing - nothing at all. "I j-just don't know what's happening to me anymore.." she whispered and shook her head as she rose it to look in to Riley's eyes. She could always tell how someone felt by looking in to their eyes because all their emotions seemed to be kept right there.
"It's just am I really that bad of a person that I can't hold any relationships?" she questions and shook her head. "Everyone just sees that I'm pretty but they don't see anything else.." she said and shook her head. "Guys don't care about me they just want to get in my pants and then they throw me away like I'm yesterdays news." she whispered all of this as she looked at Riley. "Teddy and you are the only true friends I have anymore." she whispered as she shook her head lightly. "I don't know what I've done.." she said thinking back to the fight with Conor.
