[/i] Becca noted that in her heart. Now all she had to do was wait for the rest to arrive, as they were all bringing their own belongings and moving in today. Taking a glimpse of the still opened, yet empty doorway Becca couldn't help but to wonder where Keith and Christiane were? They were late. Sort of. In a way. Well, okay no. Truth is, Becca was the one to be early, but still she was never one to wait for others. Becca took yet another glance at the still opened yet empty doorway and sighed before making her way to the other side of the room. Through the large, rounded windows Becca could see a large view of Huntley, from the Rutherford University all the way to the mall on the other side. She was lucky enough to have been able to get such a spectacular view at the floor just below the Penthouse and was even too mesmerized to even notice the person entering the room from behind. [/ul]

Butterflies felt as if they were fluttering inside Keith's stomach as he stood in the lift on his way to the 5th floor. Today was moving day and not only that but he was going to be living with 2 chicks. And they weren't just any chicks, one of them was Becca. A close friend of his and a small crush. His main problem was how they were going to be able to handle living with a guy. He wasn't exactly the most organised or hygenic of all people but he considered himself somewhat well groomed. By guy standards that was.
The doors of the lift opened to a long hallway. Keith grabbed his luggage that was by his side and he made his way down the long hallway towards apartment 69. He chuckled as he thought about the number and the fact that he was living with 2 chicks inside apartment 69. It was so unexpectedly funny that he just couldn't help but let out a small laugh every time he thought about it.
He saw that the door was open which meant that someone was already there. As he walked inside the door he saw Rebecca standing there looking out the window. Slowly and quietly he put his bags down and sneaked up behind Becca. He quickly tapped the sides of her waist with his index and middle fingers to give her a 'shock' and said "Boo" loudly in her ear. All the guys in high school used to do that to the girls, it was called an 'electric shock' because of the feeling you usually got going from your sides all the way up your body. He never got that feeling but the girls must've which was why they always done it to them. He didn't know for sure though, all he knew was that it was funny to see them jump because they weren't expecting it.

Difficultly and quite arduously clinging onto a red and white carton of books in her hands, Christiane gingerly walked towards the elevator, her hazardous steps almost causing her to trip; she hated moving, she merely hated it. With all the books and novels that she had owned, and all the DNA posters that she had made, it was quite a hassle for her to have to change homes. She could surely make an exception this once, however, could she not? After all, she was moving in with Becca; the beautiful, party lover Becca. Ah, the childish and lovable faces she would have to make to avoid doing the dishes on Sundays, or cook inedible macaroni, which quite sadly were the only that she could cook, on Tuesdays. She could only imagine the disastrous, fun times she would have with her new roommates. Who knew, perhaps they would endure her slight laziness when it came to chores. Hah. Right.
Once she was inside the elevator, Christiane pressed on the fifth button, the fifth floor being the one in which her new apartment was in. She annoyingly sighed to herself as she adjusted the rough edged box that she was holding, praying that the elevator would soon get her to the right floor. She could not help but wonder, in those five seconds during which she was in the elevator, what the apartment would be like; Becca had told her it was quite vast and luxurious, which, of course, made Christiane more enthusiastic about moving in with Becca. It had better be, however, she thought, since both she and Becca had pets, and her own were used to peeing inside. If only she was as active as she wanted to be.
Finally reaching the right floor, Christiane hurriedly got out of the elevator, hearing dim voices coming out of apartment 69. Apartment 69; was that not the apartment that they would rent? Christiane had an awful memory, at times, she could hardly remember what she had for breakfast; it was a whole different matter when it came to studies, however; her memory never failed her, then. "Apartment 69. How convenient," she said to herself, smirking as she walked towards the opened door. "Sorry I'm late!," she said, while she was still outside, roughly placing her box on the parquet flooring. "I only had coins on me, and the cab driver wouldn't accept them," she said, as she smilingly knocked slightly on the door.

Her reaction was priceless. How high she had jumped was just a bonus. He had never seen it work that well on anyone since he was about 14. It was great. He burst out laughing when she landed on the floor but helped her up when she held her hands out. He was the reason she was on the floor anyway so it was only fair that he help her back up.
His laugh had slowly started to cease but the memory of what had happened was still strong in his head. Something he'd very fondly remember when ever he was bored. It was bound to bring him some good laughs at her expense. The laughed quickly disappeared when she gave him a face that he couldn't help but resist. The laughs may have disappeared but the smirk had remained.
"That was the point, duh" He chuckled, softly pushing her arm just like she had pushed his chest. They were interrupted by someone else entering the room. Keith looked to see who it was and the smirk turned into a small smile. "Hey" He greeted her.
Wanting the best room before the other two dibbs-ed it, Keith quickly picked up his bags and began to walk down the hall, peering into the rooms to see which was bigger and when he had found the biggest he dropped his things inside the room and lay on the ground. "I DIBBS THIS ROOM" He yelled so that they heard him. They weren't gonna try take it from him. He was there first. Well technically Becca was at the apartment first but he was in the bedroom first so he should get it. Thats the way things work when you move into a new place.

Rebecca turned her attention back to where Keith was; in the room he had dibbed before all the others. Most of the bedrooms were already quite large and spacious, this one however considering it is after all the master bedroom, was just slightly more spacious and had a slightly better view of Huntley, as compared to the other rooms. Unfortunately though, first come, first serve. Even though Becca had been the one to see the room before Keith had, he did puts dibbs on this one before. Rolling her eyes, a playful grin soon found its way to her lips.
Suddenly, a loud bark could be heard and a small head, full of soft, brown fur belonging to Confection, her pup, came running out of the same room Keith was in. With her tiny feet, she made her way out passing between Keith's legs and soon being accompanied by Becca's snowy-white kitten, Elmo. Unfortunately, those two were the least of their problems. While Becca couldn't stand leaving her babies at home with her family, she decided to bring them all; 'all' being not two, but in fact three pets.
The two, puppy and kitten together, made their way to Christiane, finding a sudden interest in her. Elmo purred at her feet while Connie tried standing on her two hind legs to impress her. Another bark could be heard and Becca's German Shepherd, Tommy appeared running out of the room. Tommy, like her other pets absolutely loved guests and new people, unless they could sense something bad from that said person. He stood up on his two back feet and rested the other front two on Keith's chest before playfully pushing him down and licking his face all over.
They were friendly, maybe even a little too friendly, that was for sure but Becca was not too certain how her new roommates would take having three animals around the apartment. And from the look on their faces, she wondered if they minded it. "Uhm, are you guys allergic to animals by any chance?" she said, scrunching up her face slightly as she awaited their response.

[/i]. Since this guy, whose name Christiane still did not know, was going to be their roommate, Christiane knew for a fact that he had to be, well, not bad: after all, Rebecca was quite picky when it came to roommates, she thought. She only hoped now that he would not call her Chrissy: she did not particularly hate that nickname -well, maybe she sort of pretended to - , but it was not her favorite either; she always thought it was too girly, too babyish for her. In a way, however, it was vaguely similar to the fact she pretended to hate parties: she knew deep down that she loved them, just as she knew deep down that she loved . "I DIBBS THIS ROOM!", she heard him say, as he walked into an empty room. Yikes! He got the largest room, she thought. Although she had not been in the apartment before, she simply knew from the excitement in his voice that must have found it. What would that leave her and Rebecca with? Smaller rooms, no doubt; judging from the enormous size of that building and that apartment, however, Christiane merely knew that even the smallest rooms would be large; compared to her past rooms, at least. She was always far too broke to afford an apartment similar to that one, which is precisely why she lightheartedly accepted to share it with two people, especially since the sum that she would pay was trivial compared to the beauty of the apartments. Even though the walls were still white, and the rooms were virgin, Christiane knew that that would soon change, especially since Rebecca was around. Sharing a room with two hot people would definitely, definitely be eventful. Chuckling slightly at the squishy squashy feel of what seemed to be Rebecca's pets against her feet, Christiane bent down, petting them, as a playful grimace came to be drawn on her face. She ahd heard Rebecca speak of her pets before, but she had never saw them; it was quite hard for her to recognize who was who, but who cared? They were adorable! Christiane loved pets, especially if they were as sociable as Rebecca's, assuming that those were indeed Rebecca's pets. She hoped they would not mind having her own pets around; seeing as they seemed so friendly towards her, Christiane knew it would not be a problem. Not a big one, at least. "No, are you kidding me, I absolutely love pets! Eliot and Lily are still at my brother's old apartment, I couldn't bring them with me right away because the cab driver was being as ass," Christiane said, chuckling as the cute little puppy licked her hand. "I didn't know it would be okay with you two for them to live here," she said, reluctant to ask Rebecca's friend about having pets. "How about you?," she said loudly, hoping he would hear her from the other room.[/ul]

Keith was lying comfortably on the ground, trying to picture the way he'd do his room when he heard a loud bark. He quickly stood up and looked around the room curiously. Then a Pomeranian run through his legs and when he looked back up he saw a kitten heading toward him to do the same. A small laugh could be heard from him as the kitten passed through and watched them head toward Christiane. He turned and looked at the pets for a short time longer before he heard something else coming.
He looked around and saw a German shepherd head toward him. A huge grin appeared on his face when the dog put its two paws on his chest and Keith lost his balance before falling on the ground, only to have the dogs slobber all over his face. A loud laugh kept coming out of his mouth as he tried to stop the dog from licking his face. When he knew he wasn't going to win he just playfully wrapped his arms around the dogs head to bring it closer to him and he smothered it with kisses while being pushed down again. Hopefully the dog didn't have rape on its mind because that would definitely have traumatized Keith.
He pushed the dog playfully as he got up and the grin got even better and he sort of challenged the dog by pulling the legs of his pants up. "Yeah animals are fine with me" Keith called, answering her question. Straight after he answered her he softly tackled the dog and laughed as he played around with it. He was having the most fun he'd ever had in a long time. Dogs were so awesome. He definitely wanted to get a pet of his own though. Only because the other two had pets so why shouldn't he. But he wanted something different. And he knew exactly what that was going to be.
"I'm gonna get a pet too. An Axolotl" He said still playing around with the dog but he obviously isn't as energetic as he was when they started. He stood up and patted the dog on the head before walking over to Becca. "What do you think?" He asked them both. He didn't care if they didn't want an axolotl or not. Even if they didn't like it he'd still get it. Mostly out of spite but partly because he wanted too. But hopefully they would be all good so they don't try to poison the aquarium.

At their responses, Becca couldn't restrain the slight squeal escaping her lips and grinned, widely, not at all having liked the idea of sending her three favorite dogs back home or allowing them to live with someone at the meantime. They were her companions, her friends who always knew how to cheer up, whether it's a small cuddle or a cute little meow. She loved them, and if neither of friends felt the same way about Confection, Tommy, and Elmo, she probably would've chosen her pets over them.
Watching Keith play with Tommy, Becca felt a small laugh leave her parted lips and couldn't help but to throw her head back at how cute the two were being together. Keith was obviously a natural with dogs, as was Christiane with Confection and Elmo. She called for Connie, her favorite of the three (though she'd never admit to that), who immediately ran from Christiane to Rebecca, jumping up and into her open arms where she cuddled her; occasionally making kissy faces at the pup.
"That's perfectly fine, Chris!" she said, clapping her hands together; already getting excited at the thought of more animals in the apartment. Of course... that would mean a lot of cleaning and pet-walking to do, but hopefully that would only be the least of her problems. "Oh, and Keith, just as long as you don't make us do the dirty work for you, then you can go ahead and have an axolotl. I'm good with that; what about you Chrissy?
Sorry. Crappy post. Out of muse, but I forced it out of me. ><
