Seeing her frown he didn’t know why, he really wasn’t that sweet. Well he could be but he didn’t think that he was. “I guess there is no use in arguing then it is” thinking to himself how demanding she was and how he like that about her. Already two things that he liked about her, maybe he would find more about her. Looking at her blues eyes he smiled and then looked back at the titles.
Taking her hand and hers he walked her over to the ticket booth. Her hands were so soft and he could feel the difference between the both of their hands. Dean usually work with hands all the time. He really didn’t take much care of them, he didn’t even put lotion on it so they were kind of rough and hard like sand paper. He wondered if that bother her that he was holding her hand but she didn’t pull away so she must have been fine with it.
As they reached the ticket booth Dean noticed as she reach for her wallet out of her purse and he looked at her and stop her with his other hand “no don’t do that. I am paying” he said looking back waiting on the line to move up so that he could get the tickets. Dean was told that the male always pays and he did ask her to come with him. He didn’t want her to pay.

Anna looked up at him in surprise when he said he was paying. She instantly felt a pang of guilt, making her look down at her wallet once more before lifting her blue eyes up to meet his again. "I don't mind," she said, shaking her head in attempt to argue. However, the expression on his face made her reconsider debating. Hesitantly, Anna folded her wallet back up and returned it to the small denim purse at her elbow.
Slowly but surely the line progressed, the two standing in comfortable silence while they waited. It took a good amount of willpower for the teenager to keep from adjusting her hand in his, unaccustomed to the feeling of someone holding onto her. Although it made her a bit nervous, it also gave her a brief giddiness that crept into a smile without her even realizing it.
Just as she considered making small talk to pass the time, the man in front of them bought his ticket and walked through the cinema doors. Looking up once more at Dean to make sure he was positive on paying, Anna waited patiently at his side. Her eyes peeked inside the glass - their close proximity making it much easier to see inside. Even though she had lived in this part of the country for seven months now, she had not been inside the New York City cinema.
An excitement fluttered in her chest as the realization dawned on her mind. It made her feel even better about her situation; and, once Dean had paid and gotten the tickets, Anna gave him a soft smile and tugged his hand towards the door. "You see, another example of you being sweet," she said, her Southern accent lining the word 'being'.

Looking at her he shook his head “no I am fine with paying” he said with a smile. He was only trying to be nice. No he will not let her pay it, and he knew that she would probably argue with him until her face turns blue but he wouldn’t. First and most off he was a gentleman even though he didn’t act all the time. He did have his moments though when he could be the nicest person you would ever meet.
Slowly they reach the front of the line and he pulled out his wallet with his free hand noticing for the first time that his other hand was still in hers. He didn’t know why he hadn’t pull away yet and he hope that he wasn’t making her feel uncomfortable by him not. Some part of him knew that she probably wouldn’t let him do it if she didn’t want him to do so. Reaching in his wallet he pulled out the money and asked for two tickets and paid for him.
Turning in her direction he asked her if she was ready to go yet. “are you ready” but before he could finish his sentence he was being pulled towards the door. “oh I guess you win, I am nice but I don’t think any else would agree with you” he said being honest about that. He knew how certain gals felt about him especially the ones that he broke there heart. They would rather see him dead.
Walking through the door he looked around and decided that they would need something to eat and drink “you want some popcorn” he said looking towards her “we can share if you want” he said to her. He really couldn’t watch a movie without any popcorn. It was not a common thing for him.

"Well I suppose they don't realize what they are missing then, do they?" Anna phrased her thought in the form of a question, even though it was rhetorical. She had never seen a different side of Dean, and she found herself beginning to fancy him with how polite he was being. She had not met very many people with genuine manners in the city. It was a nice change to have her tickets paid for and have someone actually care about her. Or at least, act like they really cared.
She nodded at the mention of popcorn, mostly out of habit then the actual need. She probably would not eat an entire bag herself - she could binge from time to time, but it was rare. "Let's share," she said with a perky smile, her eyes shining. She was having a good time, despite starting the afternoon off a little unsteadily. "And I want to buy it, because I bet I will eat more of it than you," she stated clearly, her chin lifted subconsciously higher.
She giggled a little before leading him to the direction of the food stand and ordering a bag of buttered popcorn, not wanting him to get any extra words in. If he did, he would likely demand to pay, which she did not want to hear about. He bought the tickets so it was only fair she bought the food.
It was only after she had paid that Anna realized her hand was no longer in his. If she had been bolder, she might have reached out and fixed that problem, but she didn't. Lack of experience in that area made her anxious about pulling any moves, so she let one arm rest at her side while the other held the popcorn bag.
A glance up at the clock made Anna widen her eyes in faint surprise. They must have been standing in the ticket line longer than she thought, considering they now had only three minutes before their movie started. With a tentatively anxious glance at Dean, she nodded towards the clock and said, "We should probably go sit down now. Unless, of course, you plan to waste the money you just spent." She grinned up at him beneath black lashes, her pale blue-grey eyes gleaming with natural humour. OOC: Totally stealing your formatting idea. It makes it so much easier to read, lol, hope you don't mind.

[pffft I stole it from someone else shhs are secret]
“I guess they don’t” he said highly doubting that they didn’t really know him. Of course they knew him like a open book. He was just like every other guy that he knew. Pompous, over-egoistic , womanizing jack ass. The only difference between him and his friends was the fact that he knew that stuff about himself and he wasn’t going to change. He like who he was and everything about himself. It was so happen that other people didn’t. He couldn’t change that fact thought and didn’t find it worth trying to do so.
Seeing her shake her head at the note of popcorn, he walked her over to the line to get all the snacks. It wasn’t that long of a line so they wouldn’t miss the beginning of the movie. Missing the beginning of the movie would suck because it sets the base of the entire movie. He wouldn’t want to miss the beginning of the movie so he pick the shortest line there. Not that they didn’t have plenty of time to get there but he also wanted to get a good seat. “Okay I don’t eat that much popcorn. I just like the taste but the husk get in my teeth and it is such a bother.” Dean said to her popcorn comment. “and I guess I can argue with you on this one. I will let you pay fair lady” he said with a small laugh.
After she paid for the popcorn Dean placed his hand on the small of her back hearing that they should go now and he looked at the clock. He didn’t realize that it was that late and he was never really good when it came to time. “Yeah we should” he said keeping his hand where it was and walking her towards the gate where they ticket said the movie should be. Walking in the door the light disappear and it was quite dim and he could see the flashing of the screen but it had only been previews. Looking around he tried to find a spot for them to sit, leaning closer to her he whisper in her ear and point in a direction were two seats were free “we can get those seats over there” his voice was low but he made sure it was high enough for her to hear him.

Anna grinned at Dean when he mentioned the husk getting stuck in his teeth. She nodded in understanding, her expression quite serious for such a light topic. "It's like having spacers," she said, shivering at the thought. Although Anna had never had braces, she did have spacers at one point when her dentist feared one of her teeth wasn't going to break through the gum without help. The feeling of the little rubber spacers had annoyed the young girl to no end.
When he called her a fair lady, Anna cocked her head to the side, playfully putting on a more elegant expression and stance as they waited. With a small laugh, she shook her head and let her gaze fall to the shoes on her feet. She subconsciously nibbled on her bottom lip, realizing she was having a good time. Although far from anti-social, Anna spent time with her close friends rather than attempting to make new ones. Perhaps she should go out more often. So far, so good. Well, besides the small dilemma with the man and his coffee. However, that thought was already in the back of the girl's mind.
The feeling of a hand on her lower back made Anna giddy, for one reason or another. It was different, and although instinct made her want to be more rigid, she felt more relaxed. A smile was on her face as she moved in the direction Dean led her, towards the gate and into the theater. Darkness was suddenly everywhere, giving Anna a quick sensation of excitement. She rarely went to the cinema, so the few times she did go, she got excited.
She nodded when he whispered in her ear and pointed towards two free seats. Though her eyes had not quite adjusted to the blackness of the theater, she was well aware of the hand still on her back. Feeling a tiny streak of boldness, she reached her own hand back and took his in hers, leading the way through the rows and to the seats Dean had spotted. It was a logical move, making sure he did not get lost. That was Anna's justification, at least, if her motivation was questioned. She wouldn't admit it, but it was more for the sake of being whimsical and playful than being logical.
Stepping carefully beneath legs and seats, Anna walked on her toes through the crowd until they reached the two empty seats. Once they were both sitting down, she leaned over and whispered, "Are afternoon movies normally this crowded?" Adjusting her weight and getting comfortable, she took a small handful of popcorn before offering the bag to Dean.

Seeing her grin he could tell that she understood what he was talking about. “I never had spacers but they sound like they hurt.” if they had anything to do with teeth it sure didn’t sound pretty. Now the though about husk in his teeth didn’t seem so bad. But still it wasn’t a nice thing especially since you couldn’t see the little things so you couldn’t take them out and when you did find them they were hell to come out. Oh but that was the consequence for eating popcorn. Wondering why all the she look so confident at one moment and the other moment she was looking at the ground at her feet. He look at her and he wonder how could something so beautiful be so close up inside. But he didn’t mention a thing. Dean didn’t want Anna to feel any more uncomfortable then she was already. Because he was having a great time with her at the movies like he though he would when he called her. Oh and he was getting to know her a lot more and he was liking her more each second he was getting to know her.
He didn’t know why he placed his hand on the small of her back. Maybe it was just a reaction. He didn’t even notice how he was acting around her because it came to natural to him to do things like that. He lead her to the theater and look around for a seat spotting two perfect spots. It wasn’t that close to the screen and it wasn’t to far away so it was just right. Plus it had two seats close together. Which was a good thing, he didn’t want her to seat all away across the room or have to lean her neck to see, or squint her eyes. All of these things where important when watching a movie.
Now his eyes were adjusted to the darkness of the room and he could see clearer. He wish that he would have though to put his contacts in but he would have to deal with it. He always forgot to put those things in. When she reached down for his hand he didn’t pull away. Her hands were so soft and he kind of liking doing this with her. Oh he didn’t know what to think now but he follow her to the seats and was grateful because he really couldn’t see a thing if he really tried. But he wasn’t going to tell her that.
Stepping over people legs he reach the seat that he pointed out before and sat down. Looking over at her he could she her lean in and whisper something to him “yeah usually it is. You know New York is a big place with a lot of people” Dean whispered back to her leaning back and his chair trying to get comfortable. He then noticed her offer him some popcorn and he took a handful and smiled at her “thanks” he mouth out then he looked at the screen.

"This is true," she whispered in agreement, grinning at the dark shadow sitting beside her. New York was a true melting pot, filled with so many people it made Anna's head ache just thinking about the variety. In Tennessee, if she ever went to a theater at noon on a weekday, she was usually the only one. Either that, or it was her and an elderly couple on opposite ends of the room.
Anna was almost immediately thankful she had chosen to wear jeans instead of a skirt. The chairs, though not uncomfortable, were small, and Anna had a habit of moving around. She attempted to find a position that wouldn't make her legs fall asleep - one of her least favorite feelings in the world. Before long she had slipped off her sandals and pulled her legs up to her chest, her chin resting comfortably on her kneecaps.
Although she was shifting and adjusting, her pale blue eyes were on the screen. Previews seemed to take up the entire first fifteen minutes. Rather than make her irritable, Anna found them intriguing. She was not in the cinema enough to see what new films were out, so when a movie caught her attention she widened her eyes, clearly interested.
One preview in particularly caught her eye, making her lift her chin from her knee and focus adamently on the screen. There was something entirely child-like in Anna: perhaps it was her inexperience or sheltered Tennessee upbringing. Curiousity was painted in her eyes, her lips parted just enough to show she was directing her attention in front of her.
It seemed to be a film about a rising theater student from a poor part of town doing everything in her power to make it on Broadway. Anna smiled, paralleling some of the screen clips with her own life. Eyes still on the screen, she leaned over towards Dean and whispered, "That's like me!" Her tone was enthusiastic, even though her voice was low so she wouldn't disrupt anyone around them. "I should come here more often," she added, casting a smile at the man beside her.

“Yeah it is a part of New York that I love the most. Not every body is the same. There is so much diversity here. Well there was in Georgia but I guess it was a bit more quiet down there.” Dean said thinking about how weird he though it was when he first came here but then he got use to it like he did almost anything else that he did. But now he couldn’t think of ever living some where else. Of course the people were rude sometimes but that he could deal with. Sometimes he did miss home but hell who didn’t.
Keeping his eyes on the screen he watched the previews. They were his favorite part of the movie. How you got to see the new movies coming out. At least next time he decided to do this he would know what he wants to watch instead of picking some random movie on the board. Although this was fun, he rather have a bit knowledge of the movie before he watch it. It as just him though. Looking over at her with his greenish orbs he could tell that she wasn’t comfortable sitting in the seat. Or at least he though she wasn’t.
She looked so cute sitting there. He couldn’t see her clearly but he could see her eyes and the just spoke out to him. Gosh why was he staring at her he thought to himself and start looking at the screen again. If she would have saw him what would she think of him. Maybe she didn’t see him and he pretend that he wasn’t just ogling t her. That is what he could do. So he bite his lip and started to eat some of the popcorn in his hand.
Hearing her soft voice again he listen in closely. “Oh really” he said looking at the screen and watching it fully. It did seem to be like her a lot. She was so different then all the other girls that he met. He knew it when he first met her and he liked that. Everyone needs change right so why not him. “ I bet you won’t be that way any longer if you hang around me” Dean said with a smile. It was true. He was bound to rub off on her soon or later. “Yeah maybe we can do this again. I am having a really nice time with you” Dean said in a sincere tone.

Anna's interest perked up at the mention of Georgia. Her eyes had adjusted to the dark room, so when she turned her head completely to look at Dean she saw more than just his outline. "You're from Georgia?" she inquired, her brows creased in surprise. She wouldn't have guessed, even with as little she knew about Dean, that he was from the south. "I'm from Tennessee," she said, a broad grin on her small face. "But I imagine my accent is more obvious," she confessed with a shy smile.
She was completely unaware of his eyes on her while she watched the screen. Her eyes did trail to him occasionally, wondering why he had invited her out. Although Anna had crushes periodically growing up, she never acted on them. She was too shy around the opposite sex to initiate anything, so she remained single throughout school. Since she settled in the city, that shyness had faded to a degree but still kept her from doing anything out of the ordinary around a guy.
Nevertheless, she couldn't help but admire the man. He was handsome, that was obvious. But he was also sweet, paying for the tickets and acting a gentleman. It sparked her interest, making her bit her own lip to hide a shy smile that threatened to grow the more she watched him. Forcing the thought down, she ate some of the popcorn in her palm, trying her best to chew as quietly as possible.
He smiled at her, playfully teasing that she would change if she spent enough time around him. Looking over at him with her own wry grin, she whispered a response: "You think so?" Turning her eyes back to the screen, she watched the girl one last time before the preview flickered to black and another one began. "Why is that?" She watched him expectantly with large, blue-grey eyes, a tiny, curious smile playing at the corners of her mouth. Although it could be seen as flirting, it was simply her inquisitive nature mingled with the small crush she was beginning to acquire for the man. Maybe it was flirting, after all.

He smiled at her when she looked surprise that he was from Georgia. He wasn’t surprise if she didn’t notice it in his accent since living in the city he lost a bit of his. Dean could tell that Anna was of course from the south and must have just recently came from there because hers was still strong. “Yeah I am from Georgia. I miss home you know but New York is great right” he said giving her a friendly smiled “wow Tennessee, I wouldn’t have guess, I thought you were from North Carolina maybe. Well who am I to guess where people are from. And yeah your accent is great. I miss mines but I guess being here I kind of lost it” he said with a small laugh.
Turning his attention back to the screen he would from time to time glance in her direction to see what she was doing. He didn’t want to make it that obvious but at one moment he swore he saw her look in his direction and he felt his pulse quicken. She didn’t say anything though so he started to calm down. It was nothing right. I mean he was just looking at someone he thought was beautiful and she seem so amazing and smart. But Dean he couldn’t find girls like that and when he did he always found a way to mess things up.
All his relationship in the pass seem to have been end by him. He would have a really nice girl and treat her like the moon and the stars only to end up cheating on them. Dean he wasn’t the commitment type, in fact some part of him fear that. He couldn’t be tied down to one person. What if he made a mistake, or it doesn’t turn out right. Then he would have fail and he didn’t want that to happen. So he would always try to push people away. Maybe one day he will let people get close to him but not now.
Smiling at her again he could help but smile at her. Being happy wasn’t hard for Dean, He was happen pretty much all of the time. But that was just a part of him. “Yeah I know so.” he whispered back to her before looking back at the screen. Hearing her next question he smirked and started to think “oh because I am great, and I don’t know I guess I will rub off on you. I mean I want to hang out with you more. It has been so fun you know” he said to her which was true, He did want to spend more time to get to know her.

Anna stuck her tongue out and shook head playfully, as though there was a bad taste in her mouth at the mention of North Carolina. Unlike some people from the South, Anna was proud of her roots. She liked telling people she was from Tennessee, strangely enough. She often contradicted the image Tennessee brought to peoples' minds. They assumed everyone in the South was a "hick" or "redneck" and that none of them were, as they called it: normal.
"You don't even have a hint of an accent," she whispered with a genuinely bright smile. With a little bit of a restrained laugh, she raised her eyebrows boldly at him and said, "Say something with your accent." Her blue-grey eyes watched him in anticipation. "I dare you," she added with a playfully-threatening smirk.
She giggled, putting one hand to her mouth to smother her laughter when he said he was great. "So if you're great and you rub off on me, does that mean I will be great, too?" Anna was teasing, her mood grand as she jested quietly. The previews had ended and the movie had begun, so Anna didn't want to disrupt Dean's concentration too much. She was, though, flattered by his comment. "I'd like to hang out again, too," she said softly, looking over at him with a shy smile.
