Anna cocked her head to the side, enjoying this light and almost bubbly tone Teddy seemed to have acquired in the past few hours. It made her feel absolutely ecstatic to see him so happy and excited. It wasn't that he was normally down and depressed, he just seemed to be more open and flashing more smiles than usual. That fact alone made Anna swell with happiness.
His comment only added to that warmth she felt growing in her chest. Dropping her eyes a little bashfully to the couch, she said, "I haven't had anyway say that to me before." Her voice was barely audible and her cheeks were tinged with a hint of pink. She wasn't used to this sweet, loving side of her friend. But, she was already feeling herself attach and grow to love it. The feeling of being wanted, even if it had only been for the past few hours, was enough to make her want to pause time and stay forever.
At first, Teddy took her hands in his; Anna shifted her weight a little to her heels, prepared to pull him back and help him to his feet. However, she was in for a surprise. Instead of taking another step backward, she let out a small squeak when she went forward and landed on his lap. Her heart skipped a beat when he didn't speak; all she saw for a split second was his face and before she knew what was happening, he was kissing her. She wasn't kissing him and he was kissing back, but he was kissing her. She felt a flutter in her stomach and she relaxed her shoulders, enjoying the feeling.
When he pulled away, she opened her eyes and looked at him. She didn't say anything for a moment, her breath gone for a second or two, but her lips slowly turned into a smile. Instead of speaking, though, Anna leaned her small frame against his body. Her head rested on the nook between the curve of his arm and his chest. Taking a breath and letting out a sigh of happiness, she murmured, "Very good." Nuzzling her nose against his chest, she added, "Thanks for letting me come over."

Teddy didn't have much to think about at this point. Just how happy he was around Anna. He'd been realizing it for quite a while before this night happened. It must of been the second time they ran into each other; after the time that he'd played guitar for her. He had been hiding smiles the entire time. Accept now he wasn't so afraid of showing them, and signaling to Anna that he was happy around her.
He was slightly shocked at Anna's next comment. No one had ever said that being with Anna was worth their time? He couldn't help but have been shocked. Then again, the way that the two of them had been acting together today, Teddy kind of got a feeling that it was new for both of them. He couldn't tell for sure, and he wasn't about to go by a feeling. But that feeling was telling him that she'd never had a boyfriend before. Or maybe she had, just not as romantic a situation between her and the past boyfriend.
He let out a happy sigh, before leaning his head back against the couch. Anna was once again in his arms, and they had once again shared an amazing kiss. They weren't in the rain anymore, so that aspect was minused out of this one. It was still slightly romantic though. Or, at least, so Teddy thought. He had already spoken, but it still didn't rid the situation of the comfortable silence afterwards.
He felt some of her weight transfer onto his body, her head nestled into his arm. Naturally, he put his arm around her back. Not only did it allow him to touch her more than he was at the moment, but it did make both of them more comfortable. "You're very welcome." he replied quietly. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against the top of her head briefly, before leaning it back against the couch.

Anna felt shivers creep up her spine when he wrapped his strong arm around her back. She could feel his muscles against her bare skin and the thought alone made her stomach tense. Of course, it was a frighteningly new feeling, but a good one all in all. His fingers brushed against her arm and she tilted her chin just enough to look down at what she could see of his arm. His skin was darker than her own, though not by too much; the tones seemed to compliment each other much to her delight.
Letting that shivering feeling melt away in her chest, Anna lifted her head up into the kiss Teddy placed on her head. A smile crossed her lips when he leaned back against the couch and enjoyed the comfortable silence between them. Anna was exceedingly happy right now; she didn't want to leave and go back to the empty dorm on campus. If she could stay longer she definitely would, but exams were priority and in the front of her mind - even despite the sweet and romantic situation the two seemed to be enjoying. One more week and she was done with school. Once that was done, she could enjoy the freedom of a young adult. The only problem with that, unfortunately, was the fact she would be going back home for awhile. The thought made her smile flicker and she turned away from Teddy and leaned thoughtfully back into his chest. She wasn't ready to go home. Anna missed her family but she didn't want to leave all of her friends for an entire summer. She had developed such great friendships, and a new, exciting relationship since moving up to Huntley. How could she leave that all behind for two and a half months?
"What are you going to do this summer?" she asked idly, lifting a hand up to rest beside her head on his chest. Her thumb absently stroked his shirt while she waited for his response. Maybe she could go home for a few weeks and then come back to Huntley early. Maybe sometime in late June. That would give her plenty of time to just hang out with her friends. It was definitely something to think on.
