Long days and late nights had begun to take a toll on Dom. Since his cousin, Jasmine Scott, had died in a crash, he had thrown himself into his work. She was the only family he had in this big city. Everyone around him seemed to be dying. He couldn't even save her. He tired and failed. He often wondered if he actually was fit to become a doctor. Everyone seemed to die. It was like he was the Grim Reaper. He had already had 5 coffees that night. The reason he was at the hospital so late, was because he volunteered to stay late, and as mentioned before, he threw himself into his work. He knew a few other interns had stayed as well. There was one resident, but he was somewhere. the interns were scattered on different floors, monitoring other patients. He had done his round of checking pateints.
He headed into the lounge, where the interns, students and residents went to relax. He didn't need to but he felt like it. He honestly didin't what was happening around him. He collapsed one of the seats adn leant his head back adn thought. About anything, about everything. He crossed his arms adn sighed, basking in he darkness, not bothering to turn on the lights. He didn't see a point. He looked over at the window, seeing barely anything through the blinds. He moved his hand to the back of his head, his fingers buried though his brown locks.
At this time, he would be at home, in his apartment. WIth or without Alexia. He had confessed his feelings to her, luckily for him, she felt the same way which made him all cute and fuzzy inside. Now, he didn't feel anything. Towards Alexia, he liked her a lot and thankful that she was his girlfriend. He felt no emotion to anything. He was emotionless. It sucked. Why did she have to die?
