Would You Like To Work At One Of The Countries Leading Teaching Hospitals?
Well Mount Sinai is one of the nations Leading teaching hospitals and it is currently taking Interns, Nurses, Residents & Doctors.
As an Intern you will work as a doctor, having your own patients and being able to scrub in on some surgeries. You will have to follow orders that a 'Resident' gives you. You will be PM'ed every 2 weeks with something new to do at the hospital. You must make a thread where you do what is assigned to you within the two week time limit. If you don't then you don't get paid for those two weeks. Yes thats right i said paid. Being an Inter at Mount Sinai pays you $510 per fortnight. So every two weeks thats how much you make. 21 is the youngest person we will take and obviously if you don't study Medicine then you won't be accepted. The hospital is limited to 8 Interns to each Resident.
As A nurse you will often aid the doctors and Interns with patients and look after the less serious patients yourself. There isn't really much to say because everyone knows what Nurses are so I don't really need to give you a description. You will get paid $315 per fortnight. If you do not post in atleast one thread with either an Intern, Doctor or another Nurse then you will not be getting paid for those two weeks. Must be 20 or older, other then that there aren't any qualifications you need here. In real life you might but here you dont lol.
A resident is just a normal doctor that is in charge of the Interns. You assign them to patients and are their 'mentor'. If you need to really know, which I can't be bothered explaining, then see Dr. Bailey from Greys Anatomy. She's a resident. You will get paid $900 per fortnight but since you are more in charge you will need to be in 3 threads minimum. You can just enter any thread thats already in the hospital, post for a bit and then leave if you wish, but you must be in 3 threads within the two weeks or you wont get paid in full.
Doctor.. ok i definitely don't need to explain here. You can be in any thread in the hospital, just like the Residents. You just don't have any Interns that you watch. Some interns might assist you in a surgery but other then that you don't really deal with them. Unless you have a relationship with them, which is completely forbidden so do not make it public. Also, same as residents, you must be in 3 threads per fortnight minimum to get paid in full. You will get paid $860 per fortnight.

Name: Joshua Bennett Age: 25 Occupation: Resident Why Should Mount Sinai Hire You?: "Why should I get hired? For one, there's the schooling. I went through highschool and I graduated grade 12. After that, I went to college with a medicine major; and graduated with honors. Ever since I was just a little guy, I've been wanting to have a career where I'm helping people. I'm also responsible, and follow through with everything I say I'm going to do, and everything I start. With that in mind, I will show up and give 110% into every patient that I have. As for the interns, again I want to help people. So will help the interns if they need it, and make sure that they're ready to become surgeons."
