Grinning back at Josh, flashing her white teeth, she lifts her fine brows slightly. "Oh, really? Well, that's good to know. And sure, you can have fun, you are allowed. Just don't go too far, you're too heavy for me to carry by myself." Winking at him, her gloss covered lips curled into a slight smirk, Lexi enjoyed teasing him, and he was teasing her back. She thought he was having fun, and she wanted to hear him laugh, like she wanted everyone around her to have a good time.
Seeing that he didn't have another drink yet, Lexi starts to take the seat next to Josh. She begins to take another sip of her wine cooler, and then he is asking her to dance with him. Smiling slyly at him, her brown eyes gazing into his green irises, he seemed very excited, and she couldn't say no to him. Getting out of her seat, she reaches for his hand, and narrows her dark eyes at him slightly. "Why didn't you say so, before I sat down? Sheesh, c'mon, before I change my mind!" She then leads him over to the dance floor, while holding her wine cooler in her other hand. She wasn't going to leave it on the bar for someone to toss away.
Choosing an open spot, and turning back to face him with a playful smirk, Lexi wonders for a second if this was going to feel too awkward for her, dancing with her best friend's brother. She didn't think of him in any romantic way, but he was pretty damn cute, and would someone get jealous of her dancing with him? Not wanting to be bothered with such things, she raises her thin arms in the air, still holding onto the wine cooler. Watching his green eyes, she moves with the beat of the music, while shaking her hips slightly. She was just wanting to have a good time, and not let anything get into the way. She hoped he didn't feel uncomfortable around her, or that he would say something to her if he did. She wanted him to have a good time too, and not to feel like he had to force enjoying himself around her.
((added another paragraph, hope that helps!))

Joshua liked Lexi. Yeah, he did. But not in the romantic, wanting to be her boyfriend type way. What she said next made him smile. He sensed that she was trying to tell him not to go to out of control, and end up in a dangerous situation. Of course, she put a teasing, mood-lightening twist on it. Well, at least he got the point of what she was trying to tell him. The fact that he wanted to have fun tonight, made him bite his tongue and not say anything negative. "Of course. I am rather large for such a tiny girl." he said jokingly, before flexing one of his arms to emphasise this.
He was about to lean forward and order another drink for himself, before he heard her next words. Again, Joshua was about to say something. But that was before he got lead to the dance floor. Sheesh, he was getting cut off left and right! It didn't much matter to him though. "Yeah, alright alright." he slipped in, as she pulled him onto the dance floor.
When he saw her start dancing, that's when he realized just how awkward this might end up. Alexia was his sister's best friend, of course. But she was dancing, and it seemed to Joshua that she wanted to have a good time. He didn't want to be the reason for her not having a good time. So, he started dancing with her. Of course, it was the opposite of what he'd been doing earlier, with the strange female. He didn't put his arms around her, and he wasn't dancing really close. He did have to be a little closer, since he didn't want to get pushed away from her. But it was just a friendly dance. He knew that, and he was perfectly fine with it. As long as he kept that in his head, and didn't do anything that crossed the line.

Lexi laughed at Josh's little joke, the flexing of his arm showed that he was in a light mood. But she wasn't going to let him get away with saying that to her, just like she wouldn't let one of her brothers get away with it either. The lifting of one of her thinner arms to flex for him, as she tried not to sound too indignant. "Tiny? Wait until the next time we play football, I'll show you what a 'tiny' girl can do!" Not that they had played rough, or even tackle football. But she thought she might be able to outrun him, if it came to a foot race between them.
Josh seemed a little reluctant at first, but Lexi didn't plan on keeping out there for more than one or two dances. Just enough to have a little fun, and maybe show people that the both of them enjoyed to dance. Not that she thought he would have any trouble finding someone to dance with, this would just help things a little more. She noticed that he was keeping his distance, which was okay, she didn't expect anything close or hands on from him. Whatever was comfortable with him was fine with her. She takes a sip of her wine cooler, keeping her arms above her head, and moving in a tight circle around him.
Someone bumps her from behind, Lexi was sure that it was an accident. Falling forward slightly, her brown eyed gaze widening, she puts one hand out to keep from colliding with Josh. Her hand ends up on his chest, and she looks up, sheepishly, as she glances behind her to make sure she can back away. "Sorry, I guess we're not close enough together for some people." As she backs away, but is still closer to him than before, she raises her arms in the air again, shaking her hips, and moving with the music. With a big smile up at him, Lexi appreciates Josh wanting to spend a little time with her in the bar. At least it was better than being there on her own.

Joshua couldn't help but laugh, as she spoke defiantly about his previous comment. "You're on!" he stated, a smile planted on his face. "Tiny versus Joshua in an all-out, one on one football game." he added. He ran a hand through his hair out of habit, the smile stuck on his face. He liked joking around with Alexia; she had a good sense of humor. Something like playing football against her though, Joshua wasn't too sure he wanted to do that. He'd be afraid to tackle her, or anything along those lines.
He couldn't help but feel a little weird about dancing with her. He had initated it, so it'd be dumb if he was the one that backed down now. Slowly though, that nervousness and weirdness melted away. He didn't dance the same way with Alexia as he did with the strange girl; but he was loosening up and not dancing in jerky movements.
Suddenly, he felt Lexi's hands on his chest; having someone bumped into her. A smile formed on his lips, in return to her sheepish gaze. He didn't feel weird about this situation at all anymore, even if she'd just collided with him. He laughed slightly again, before replying, "Yeah, I guess." Simple, not very elaborate. "This is a bar though." he added. Again, simple. He started dancing once more, when Lexi did. He noticed rather quickly that she was staying closer to him. But this fact didn't bother him anymore.

Laughing at Josh and his cheerful boast, Lexi looks at him with her dark eyes, shaking her head at him. She wondered if he knew what he was getting himself into, and she was almost certain that he didn't. But she was looking forward to a contest between them, and she was going to point out a small mistake on his part. "You realize, Josh, that football is a team sport? And for calling me 'Tiny', I'm going to catch a ball right in front of you, and run it in for a touchdown. And you're not going to ever catch me." With a confident grin, she knew that she was going to make him work hard to beat her.
She noticed that he was relaxing, and she felt better about inviting him out to the dance floor. They were just friends, and dancing like friends would do at times. And his laugh as she bumped into him just proved how calm and cool he was around her. She liked Josh, she thought he was a really nice guy, and a great brother to Anna. And some of those qualities made him an excellent candidate to become a doctor. She realizes that she never asked him something, and she was curious about it now. "Hey, you're working at Mount Sinai, right? Do you know Dominic Hudson? He's a good friend of mine, and an intern over there." Josh may work in a different department, or on a different schedule, and might not know Dom, but it didn't hurt to ask.
Sipping at her wine cooler, Lexi finishes it off, as the song ended, and she ends up standing close to Josh. Looking up at him, with a slight smirk, she talks a little loudly so he can hear her over the next song that was starting. "One more? Or are you getting thirsty?" She hadn't see a drink in his hand in a while, and she didn't want to make him feel like he had to be out there. They could take a break, get something to drink, and maybe dance a little more later. Unless he wanted to dance one more. Lexi didn't want him to feel like he had to spend the whole time there with her, she thought that he was single, and he might want to mingle and meet some people. But she did enjoy spending time with him, he was a great guy to hang out with, and to tease a little.
