Auditioning new girls was never a fun job. Bobby had done it approximately 14 times since she had started working at Coyote Ugly. Having only hired 4 out of the 14, she always felt as if it was a waste of time. She hated hiring people, but since Lil was gone and she had left the bar to Bobby, and since Elizabeth was also gone, Bobby needed more workers. The reason she had hired Elizabeth in the first place but as expected she didn't last. None of them do. None accept for Bobby and one other Coyote.
Bobby had opened early to allow the girls who applied to strut their stuff before their big test later that night. If they couldn't handle the audition in front of Bobby then there was no way in hell they'd be able to handle it in front of an over packed crowd of drunk fools.
The first girl she had to see was named Evelyn Pierce. 21 Years Old. Student. Must be going to Rutherford or NYU since they were the closest. Well aside from the community colleges but who goes to those anymore? Bobby certainly didn't know anyone that did and she knew a lot of people. She quietly read Evelyn's personal reference and laughed because of how she made herself sound. Bobby would only believe it when she saw it. A lot of the girls who went in for a job saying that often left with their tails between their legs and their ego brought down a few notches. But that was the way Bobby had to be when she was hiring.
She tapped the end of her pen along with the song that was currently playing in the juke box which was In The Ghetto by Elvis Presley. One of his best songs in Bobby's opinion, not like it mattered though. She looked at her watch, the time reading 9:14am. She had set the audition for 9:15, giving her 10 minutes to give the place a quick clean up and 5 to relax. Humming along with the song, Bobby waited for Evelyn to arrive. Didn't Evelyn ever hear of going to a job interview 15 minutes early.

Evelyn had made herself sound like a little peppy girl that was all excited to work there but in reality the girl just needed money - and she needed it badly. She figured this job could work for her because she was good looking, she was always at the bar, she was a good dancer, and she could deal with drunk jerks hitting on her without getting her panties in a bunch. She wasn't going to suck up to the girl who was going to be judging her because she knew girls that worked here weren't going to put up with that peppy bullshit - they'd only laugh in her face and probably laugh at her application. She always had a hard time filling out job applications because she couldn't really describe herself without sounding conceited or sounding like a total goody good. It also didn't help that she had to lie about her age on the application and she could get in serious trouble for that but she'd see if she got the job before she began worrying about that. For the audition she'd decided to wear something a bit showy just to show she wasn't afraid to show skin and because all her other clothes were dirty. It had taken her awhile to get ready - thus being why she was going to come in just a minute before it was time for her to actual be there to begin her audition. She ran down the street with her bag over her shoulder as she let out a sigh of frustration as she finally got to the bar and she fixed her hair and took in a deep breathe as she walked in. Everything was silent and she saw a girl sitting down in a chair obviously waiting on Evelyn to get there. "Hello." she said and smiled over at the girl as she approached her and set her bag down on the floor as she reached out her hand and gave her a wide smile. "I'm Evelyn." she said sweetly hoping to not sound like such a kiss ass as she looked down at her application and tried not to pull a face. She was almost regretting turning in her application but she was going to put her all in to this even if the girl in front of her was pretty intimidating she wasn't going to let Bobby get to her - nope she couldn't do that because then they definitely wouldn't hire her and she would just be waisting her time by even coming. After she shook her hand she stepped back a bit unsure of really what to say. She knew there was going to be questions asked and then she was going to have to show her stuff. "Sorry I was running a bit late." she said knowing that first impressions were important especially when trying to be hired for a new job it was a good idea to come early but obviously Evelyn wasn't that organized - hopefully she wouldn't hold it against her but who knows. She hadn't seen this girl around but she was pretty sure some her friends knew her. She looked vaguely familiar but she wasn't so sure of it. She brushed a piece of her blond hair away as she looked down at her outfit which was a pair of denim jeans and a black simple black strapless shirt that was cut a bit short. Black ballet flats adorned her feet as she looked down at them and then back to Bobby as she still smiled trying to be on her best behavior.
