x.x Kaylee ran her fingers threw her hair one quick last time as she gave herself a wide smile in the mirror to check if there was anything in her teeth. She turned off the light and exited her dorm room. She quickly ran down the stairs and out the front door walking towards the back parking lot. She unlocked her black Jetta as she approached it. Slowly sitting into the car she pulled the door shut behind her. She slid the keys into the ignition and started the car. The nightclub wasn't far from campus and that was always an advantage to the students. She turned into the nightclub parking lot finding a parking space. She pulled in into the left and turned her car off. She pulled down the mirror and applied some lip gloss. She shut the mirror and turned off her headlights, opening the door and slowly stepping out onto the pavement. Her black stiletto heels touched the asphalt with a click and she shut the door. She clicked the lock on her keys and began to walk towards the entrance. She could hear the music blaring from the outside. She opened the door and stepped inside. Whipping out her fake ID she was accepted in to the club. She gracefully walked over to the bar asking for a rum in coke. She leaned against the bar giving her drink a sip. If she could name one friend that stayed with her throughout her life, alcohol would be it.

Vince ran a hand through the mop of dark hair he had on the top of his head. He was due for a haircut soon, some like his hair short and shaved and other's liked it the way it currently was. Mostly he decided later not leaving that kind of decision to someone else. But it was fine for tonight and he felt restless too. There was an itch that needed scratching he wondered how he would accomplish that tonight. There was the obvious answer to that, but he felt like having some fun with it too, maybe hit a club or something.
So he got ready quite quckly and spent all of five minutes searching for his phone and car keys. Necessities when leaving to party. The drive was short, as it always was from where he stayed. Not nearly as short as it was from the local campus, but short enough not to hit any annoying traffic. Parking was relatively simple and came with a bit of luck. The doorman didn't look at his ID twice before letting him in, he was a regular therefore allowing him some kind of VIP status to the doormen. Besides he was their hookup for the occasional hit sometimes.
Inside the music was lowder and floor more crowded, he was used to it and immediatly came an urge for a drink. At the bar he took a spot next to a girl and he ordered a beer for now. "Mind if I join you?"

Kaylee took a couple more sips scanning the room to see if she recognized anyone. Most of the time when any of the students went to the nightclub, they weren't the only ones from Rutherford there. She didn't recognize anyone yet. Suddenly an attractive guy approached her. He ordered a drink and offered if he could accompany her. She didn't mind at all, frankly, she was thankful anyone took notice to her, she didn't want to stand there alone for much longer. She shook her head. "No, not at all." She said smiling a bit at him.
He had the most gorgeous eyes and you could just smell him from a distance. Things were awkward at first, as the beginning of conversations usually are. After a couple seconds of a pause she felt she should introduce herself. She reached her hand over to take his. "I'm Kaylee." She smiled sweetly. "I'm a freshman at Rutherford.". She hoped he didn't think of her as being a young innocent or naive college girl, because she wasn't. She was far from it.

His beer arrived and he took a first sip, savoring the alcoholic taste as his journey to anything but being sober began. The night was young and he was restless, but what else was new? The club was filled with students tonight, but of course, it was only friday night. Hell there were even a couple of high school students trying to have a good time within the crowd of the older kids. Her smile brought him in even more, it was like random choice night or anything. Yea any guy would be looking to score for the night but something about her just pulled him in and hence he was there. A pause occured in the conversation. Usually he didn't get a lot of those but she saved it.
"Vince" He said taking her hand, it was small and fit nicely in his larger and rougher hands. His smile was simple and on the edge of a smirk, the introductory smile. Unless something happend to make him really smile, one that has often been complimented, something he liked of course. "Really? Thats cool. School wasn't for me." He replied, admiring her ability to want to attend school, he wished he could do so and do something with his life, but it was much too later for him. Besides now he knew she was an adult and not a high school student he'd mistaken. Yea she was young but he wanted to find out what she knew and what could come out of this night.

She smiled as she shook his hand. He had the most perfect hands, big enough to grasp onto hers without her little hand drowning in it. She nodded as he spoke watching his lips move. "Yeah, school isn't for everyone" She said looking around the club again. She took a bigger sip of her drink and placed it down. She knew he thought she looked like a quiet girl, which of course she could be. But lately her blood was boiling and she wanted to let free. She couldn't take being held down anymore. She tried to make conversation, or at least keep his attention. For all she knew he could say his good-byes and move on to another girl.
"Would you care to dance?" She asked as she finished off her drink. She pulled on her skirt a bit and thanked the bartender for the drink. She debated on getting another one before they danced but turned that idea down. She didn't want to get too wild, too soon to the point that she freaked him out.

Vince didn't know why but the fact that she was a student was neat to him. Just the fact that someone could do it and not be a complete dork, as Kaylee was putting on as an example, but that was just his stupid stereotypical view of academically successful people unlike himself. He took another sip of his beer and before he knew it, it was a quarter gone already. His first impression of her was quiet, maybe hit the club every now and then but not a lot. More conservative that the usual girls he hung out with, but that was fine, there needed to be balance every once in a while. But so far she seemed like a pretty likeable person, to him anyway.
Then she suddenly asked him to dance, and he wasn't about to deny that. Maybe she wasn't what he had first originall thought. Not a problem, he'd just have to bring out her true side, now a plan to do that. "Sure." He said, his gaze moving just in time to see her pull her skirt up a little. She sure knew what she was doing then, cool for him. Vince finished off his beer and didn't have time to get another drink before they headed out to the dance floor, the music was some rap single that had a good and catchy beat to it. "So why haven't I seen you around before?" He wondered just playfully and curiously.

Kaylee had always been an high honors student in high-school. Smart enough, but not a genius. Her good grades was one of the reasons that she got accepted and a large scholarship to Rutherford. She hasn't always had tons of money like most of the people here but she financial situation wasn't in danger. In high-school she'd slight back and forth in between the popular crowd to being quiet and reserved. She was dealing with issues in her life that not everyone needed to know about. That's when she began to become a much more shy person. But her old party ways still laid deep inside her. Once in a while she'd drive far away from her home town and hit a club. No one knew her and she could break free. It was those times when she felt most relaxed. On the outside she seemed like an innocent partier. Not really knowing what anything is. Most guys were attracted to that, they loved corrupting younger women. But there was always a surprise to know that she wasn't what they thought she was.
Kaylee waited for Vince to finish his drink and place it back down on the bar. Vince had this mysterious grungy, bad-boy look to him that she knew she was drawn to him for. After adjusting her skirt she followed after him slowly into the large crowd pushing her way through the people. They found a spot and moved closer to him. The music was loud and it was hard to hold a conversation without screaming, but she never minded. It was awkward to dance without talking. He leaned over and asked her a question. She smiled softly and shrugged a bit as she moved her hips up against him.
"I don't come out her much" She said pausing for a second before she licked her lips and continued on. "I'm sort of a shy one." She smiled a bit more and looked down at the floor, watching their feet a bit. It was true though, she rarely came to this club, and she never came alone.
She leaned up to his ear a bit. "Why haven't I seen you around?" She grinned mischievously. The song was loud and fast and she grinded her hips up against his to the beat of the song. She slowly lifted her arm and rested her hand onto his shoulder.
