Domic strolled through Huntley mall, juggling bag. Not technically. But he had a lot. His grocery inventory was low and he needed food. And he might cook tonight as well. As he had a day off, luckily. To be honest, he was whipped. He was so worn from work and all that stress, he had had enough that week. Holding his phone to his ear with his shoulder adn talking, might've looked mighty weird. Still, even if he was away from work, he couldn't actually get away. He just got called by a nurse from work, to inform him of how his patients were. As she finished, he bid her goodbye and switched his bags to one hand and closed his phone putting it in his pocket.
Today as it was his day off, he wore something a little laid back that what he did wear at work.he was decked out in worn jeans, the end of the legs getting well worn, a dark-grey t-shirt which shows his muscular arms and navy converse sneakers. His hair was dishevelled as always and hair fell onto his eyes which he blew away.
As he walked past a girl with long brunette hair, immeadiately an image of Alexia flashed into his mind. He ahd got to stop thinking of her like that. they were friends and even if he did crush on her, he was way sure she didn't feel the same way about him. Sure, friends was good enough for now, unless she liked him that way, which was highly unlikely, according to him.
He moved some bags to his other hand to balance out the weight. All the food in those bags would usually be easy for himt o carry, but the stress and his worn-out state, caused him to feel a tad weak. He tunred his head to look around, at teh mall surrounding. peopele held hands, peope le sat in cafe drinking cofee. The elderly having naps on the benches. Looking around was a bad idea because next thing he knocked someone over.
"Ohmygod I'm so sorry." He said placing down his bags. As he saw who it was, his face broke out into a grin. "Well, well, well."

Another day at the mall, another day of shopping for summer clothes. Spring was here, you could feel it in the air, even if it was still cool during the day, and chilly at night. It always brought something out in Lexi, she couldn't wait for the weekend, and a chance to get outside, enjoy the newness of everything turning green. But she needed some new clothes, and so she had a handful of bags, having found some really cute things in some of the stores.
Dressed in some low rise jeans, and a t-shirt with a stylish emblem on the front, she had her dark tresses tucked up under a ball cap, and navy chucks on her feet. There was one more shop she wanted to see, maybe they had some cool shirts she would like. Strolling through the mall, watching the people, she wasn't really thinking of much of anything, which was nice for a change. Just shopping could really relax her sometimes, and this was one of them, it felt really good.
She glances at a guy sitting on a bench, he was really good looking, and sitting there by himself. She catches him glancing at her, and she looks away, a smirk on her face. Not that she wanted to talk to a random guy at the mall, but it could be fun. And he reminded her of someone, she was trying to think of who it could be. Glancing in his direction again, walking through the mall, she made eye contact with him, and he smiled at her. She was smiling back at him, when she suddenly felt someone collide with her.
Going down on the floor, ending up on her butt, and her bags scattering out of her hands, she has a pained look on her face. She starts looking at the person who ran into her, grimacing in pain, and she recognizes the voice. "Ow, sorry... Dominic? Oh my god, what are you doing?" A slow smile creeps over her face, as she recognized her friend. It had been a while since she had seen him, and this gave her a good chance to tease him. "That isn't one of your new moves that you're using on the ladies in your life, is it? It's a little painful, you might want to rethink that one." It was good to see him, they always seemed to have a good time together. Maybe they could catch up a little, if he wasn't in a hurry.

Oh, the butterflies again. It always happen. But nothing was going to happen. he was going to make sure of it. Or at leatst try not to get his feeling in the way of their friendship. He dropped his bags at his side and took hold of her hand and pulled her up. "Oh yeah, definately. I should think of a new one. A woman isn't good if she's hurt." His hand reached to scratch the back of his neck. "Ha, no. It was stupid, too-tall me again. Wasn't watching where I was going."
He helped her collect her bags and has he handed them to her, as cheesy and cliche as it may have sounded, he swore that he felt electricity shoot through his fingers as his skin made contact with hers. He pulled his hand away slowly and picked up his own bags. Hopefulyl she wasn't busy that afternoon besides shopping. He wanted to catch up with her, since he was busy with work and stuff, he didn't see much of her. And also she had classes.
"Come walk with me." He said and teh two took off. Walking through the mall and avoiding crashing into other people. "Hey if you're not doing anything later, I happen to be cooking tonight so wanna come to my place for dinner?" Was taht a date request? He wasn't sure. But he liked cooking for people, and hopefully people liked his cooking. Well his last girlfriend told him that he was a great cook adn should have opened up a restuarant instead. Oh, well he'd have to find out tonight then, if she said she would come.

Lexi was very grateful when Dom leaned down to help her up. He was such a nice guy, a gentleman, and he was always helping someone. But sometimes she thought, what if he were doing some of those things for her, and for no one else? Was she feeling a little jealous? Or was she having those feelings for him again, the ones that she never mentioned to anybody? She looks at him, and smiles, as she gets back on her feet. "No, women aren't very happy when their guy friends walk into them, Dom." Her eyes gave her away a little, she was trying to be stern with him, but she couldn't hold in a laugh, as she saw how embarrassed he was feeling.
The warmness of his hand on her fingers slightly surprised her, didn't doctors have cold hands? She gladly takes her bags from him, and dusts off her jeans, as she notices his shoes. Sticking her foot next to his, she exclaims "Hey! We think alike when it comes to shoes, don't we? You must have been thinking about me again, weren't you?" Winking at Dom, she chuckles a little, she always enjoyed flirting with him. She hoped that he didn't take it the wrong way, they usually had fun flirting together.
As he takes off, across the mall, she stands there for a moment, then jogs a little to catch up with him. "Hey, slow down there, Tex, you're going to make me run my little legs off!" Grinning at her own remark, she glances at him, and almost drops her bags when he asked her over for dinner. Was he just being nice, or was he doing something else? Biting her lip slightly, to hide how uncertain she felt, Lexi shrugs her shoulders. "Um, okay, no, I'm not doing anything later, and sure, I can stop by for dinner! Since you are cooking... what are you making? Or do you want to surprise me? As long as I don't have to have my stomach pumped later. But I guess you would be the guy to do that too." Another chuckle, as she nudges his arm with her shoulder, and smirks playfully at him. She always enjoyed teasing him a little, and making him feel embarrassed, it was fun to see his cheeks turn red. And that made him even more cute, and attractive for her.

"Ha, you can't hold a straight face, coz I'm so goddamn cute and you can't resist me." He said grinning, glancing sideways at her. His Texan accent could be hear d slightly as he teased her.
He let out a laugh at her sudden outburst of randomness when she compared her shoes to his. Well what did you know? They were the same color. He let out a laugh. "Yeah, must be." He said winking at her slyly. It was always like this. They flirted like crazy most of the time. It was fun though. He always thought that their flirting was all justa bit of fun. Well, not now he didn't. Mentally, he was grinning like a madman. She agreed to dinner. "Don't know yet actually. Yeah, I guess it'll be a surprise." He felt his face go warm and awkwardly red, about the stomach pumping thing. When he noticed that she was smirking at him, he knew she was only teasing him.
They headed out of the mall and into the bright sunshine. Dom squinted a little before his eyes adjusted to the light. He held up his hand, placing it above his eyes, so he could block out the light and see at the same time. When did did, he put his hand down. He reached his car and stuck the key into the lock thingo for the boot and put in his bags. He closed it, and leant on it. "So, erm, come over at, say, seven?"

((no worries, it's all good!))
Lexi grinned back, chuckling at Dom's teasing, and arching her delicate brows. She knew that he could be as flirty as she could, and that was part of the reason she liked him. Shaking her head slowly, she says "No, I can't keep a straight face, because you're so silly, and it cracks me up every time." She was still trying to get him to be embarrassed, and wondering if she could pull it off.
Laughing with him about their shoes, she had to know what he meant when he said what he did. Slyly returning his wink, she tilts her head slightly, looking up at him. "What did you mean, Dom? Yeah, we think alike? Or yeah, you were thinking about me?" A slightly cheesy smirk, she knew she was grilling him over nothing. But she did want to know, and she didn't want him to evade the question.
As he tells her that the meal was going to be a surprise, Lexi grins at his reaction to her talking about him pumping her stomach. Holding her hands over her head, arms outstretched, she makes a clucking noise with her tongue. "Bing! Make you blush, Dom, no denying it. Gotcha!" Turning around slowly, she waves to imaginary people. "And the crowd goes wild, DeMarco does it again!" As she looks back at Dom, chuckling, she sighs, he looked so cute when he blushed. But she had decided that she wasn't going to get too wrapped up in her feelings for him. Unfortunately, it always seemed to come back, and she was going to have to be careful.
As Lexi followed Dom out of the mall, she pulled her cap down lower over her eyes, to help shield the sun from them. She watches him put his newly bought things into his car, and then smirks at him. "Oh, seven? Okay, I might be able to do that. Can I be fashionably late, or will you not answer the door after seven-ish?" One last chance to flirt with him, before he left. And then she would have the rest of the afternoon to wonder what he was going to make for them tonight.

He swung his keys on his finger, a smirk on his lips as he and Alexia flirted shamelessly like they always did. In his mind, he raked through all the recipes he knew, wondering what to cook for tonight. He didn't want to make anything to facy, not because he was lazy or anything, he didn't want Alexia to realise that, if he did cook something tres spectacular, that had feelings for her like that. He didn't want to seem like an idiot. A to-be doctor, with schoolboy crush. A crush on a girl, who managed to give him butterflies, every time he saw her.
"Hopefully the food would be ready by seven. Oh, and dress nice."
He didn't know why he added the last part. It seemed like a date, was it a date? He didn't know. He leant forwards, giving her a kiss on the cheek. One of those cheek-cheek kisses. He greeted adn farewelled a lot of his female friends like that. He couldn't help it. His aunties always didi that to him whenever they saw him. I guess the habit rubbed off on him.
He bid her goodbye. He unlocked his car and got in the drivers seat. He stuck the key into the ignition and turned it, the engine shuddering on adn loud classic rock, blasted though the speakers. He reached over adn put his hand over the passenger seat and looked over his shoulder so he could see what was behind his car. He made sure not to hit Alexia. That wouldn't be good. As he fully reversed out, he wound down the window and waved to her before driving off.

As she grins a little at his confident smirk, and the twirling of his keys, Lexi finds her mind wandering to what it might be like, if she was dating Dominic. It couldn't be all that bad, could it? Except for the age difference, but that didn't seem to matter that much, when they were just having fun with each other like this. And she was slipping into fantasy land, she was going to have to stick with the reality for now.
With her eyes widening slightly, and a slight look of shock on her face, Lexi glances at her clothing. Sounding a little defensive, she puts one hand on her hip, and glares half seriously at Dom. "Hey, I always dress nice! And the food better be ready when I get there, or I'm going to complain to the neighbors about the doctor with the empty promises!" This was going to be a fun night, she could tell that he was looking forward to it already. And so was she, she would have to not get too involved in her little crush for him.
But there was a little leap in her stomach, when Dom did the cheek-cheek kiss, and she glances at him with her brown eyes. He had done that to her before, but she hand managed to keep her feeling to herself all those other times. But this time, her cheeks colored ever so slightly, and she smirks, trying not to show it. As he says goodbye, she waves at him, watching him back out, and then drive off. She turns slowly back toward the mall, thinking of him, and completely forgetting about going to the one last store that she had wanted to visit.
