Standing at the bottom of the stairs, Jaselynna's eyes looked around the packed area. At this moment in time, Jase was feeling a little claustrophobic. She was waiting for a friend she had just made the day earlier, who said she would come to the statue with her. Seeing as Jaselynna didn't have to many friends her, she took her up on the offer.
Sighing a little bit, Jase moved out of the way of the staircase so others could get up them. Walking over to the window, she leaned up against, her eyes where looking at the door every-so-often. Wishing that the girl would get here soon, that way they could go up to the top.
Jaselynna had never been to the Statue of Liberty before, she was she was a little excited about it. Though as she looked outside, it was nearing dark and she knew it would be closing soon. Though, they still had a good 2 hours to spend, but she didn't want those hours to be wasted by just standing her. Sighing once more, Jase looked to-wards the door again, waiting patiently for Chance to get here.

Chance walked into the Statue of Liberty completely in awe. It was so huge, so wide. It was something that she had never experienced in her life. Back in Santo Domingo, she had never seen something so big in all her life. Not even in Wisconsin (but seriously, what's actually in Wisconsin besides...what, two bustling cities?)
She walked up the stairs, looking for Jaselynna. Chance had invited her to the Statue of Liberty as a way to get away from college life. Let's face it. College wasn't exactly what she thought it would be. Perhaps she wanted something...a bit more...social. Since she'd been here she hadn't met anyone which normally wouldn't bother her. But, since she had no family to back her up, she needed someone. So, when she met Jaselynna, she snatched her up as a friend.
Speaking of the devil...she saw Jaselynna standing by the stairs, people brushing past her on their way to the top of the statue. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she made her way up to the top. "Hey, Jay," she said, creating a nickname for her. She never tried it before and hoped that Jaselynna wouldn't take it in a wrong way. "How are you?"
