Appearance Brown hair. Brown eyes. Skin that isn't exactly fair, but not exactly tanned either. It doesn't get a whole lot more average than that. He is about 6'1", and has an athletic build. He keeps in shape as he feels that his general appearance is average enough that he needs something to stand out. And yes, that would be his body. Six packs, biceps, the whole nine yards. He stays pretty clean-shaven and keeps his hair cut short, and it's more often than not styled with some gel.
For a man, he has a pretty good sense of what to wear and looks very put-together, at least usually. He often dresses in the latest fashions. The exception to this are his feet. They seem to eternally live in flip-flops, no matter what the weather.
What Don't They Like About Themselves: Barrett believes himself to be incredibly average in appearance. He isn't all that tall, and feels that his face and general appearance are just not that striking. In other words, he thinks he's just another face in the crown, neither better-looking nor worse-looking than the next guy.
Celebrity: Jesse Metcalfe
Personality: It has often been said that Barrett is an entanglement of paradoxes, and this very well may be true about the man. Naturally curious and very talkative, he makes friends very easily. He is very fun to be around, and has something to say about just about everything. He has a natural interest in a variety of interests. However, his ability to swing from topic to topic and change his mind so often leads many others to believe him to be shallow.
He is intelligent but is also full of nervous energy. Because of this, he loves to keep busy. He is an incredible multi-tasker, but finds it difficult to stick with any task through the end. He is affectionate and generous, but also has a quick temper. Fortunately, he gets over things quickly and very rarely holds grudges.
When it comes to relationships, he needs a partner with a quick wit and someone who can keep up with his ever-changing mood and mind. He cannot stand jealousy in a partner, and will not tolerate it. Also, if he becomes bored in any way, he moves on, often not considering the pain he could be leaving behind.
On the good side, he is charming, witty and the life of the party. And on good days, he is generous, and a fascinating companion. However, on the flip side, he is a gossip, slightly superficial and can be seen as being two-faced, as he tries to charm everyone. He can also be moody and cruel, if it suits him at the particular moment.

History:
Michael Jacob Peters and Julie Annette Peters met in college on the West Coast. Michael was a pre-law major and Julie, a chemistry major. Both graduated and Michael went onto law school. When he finished that, they married and two years into their marriage, Barrett was born, followed a year later by Kaitlyn Georgia. When Barrett was thirteen, his parents divorced and his dad moved back out to CA. Michael Peters has since re-married and has little to no time for Kaitlyn and Barrett. However, he does send a very healthy check every month to Julie.
Before the divorce, Barrett and his father were very close. As one can imagine, it devastated him and his sister, along with their mother, when they learned that he had been sleeping with someone in the office for two years. It caused Barrett to be quite mature for his age, as he felt like he had to be there for his mom and little sister. Therefore, he is very protective of Kaitlyn and close to his mother. He still resents his father, and has not seen him since he was fifteen.
In high school, he was a mostly popular guy, at least with the guys. Girls either loved him or hated him, which was no matter to him. Soccer was his main focus, anyway and he was a pretty successful player.
RP Example:(at least two paragraphs)
Animals by Nickelback. It blared throughout the apartment as Gina stormed through it, screaming one profanity after another. Barrett, on the other hand, was the model of tranquility as he continued to sit on the island countertop in his kitchen. A smirk was even on his face. An observer might think this was strange, considering his girlfriend was currently slamming through his surroundings, calling him all sorts of names and gathering all of her belongings in a bunch. But Barrett, well, he knew better. Maybe it was one of the reasons he let Gina stick around. Besides the fact that she looked like a sex goddess when she was pissed off, she also didn’t let him walk all over her. Well, at least she rebelled when he did. He appreciated someone who didn’t sit by the wayside. On the flipside though, she always, always came back. Why put up such a fight when he always ended up cajoling her into the bedroom before she actually got out of the door?
He shrugged at such thoughts as he slid off the countertop and headed towards the source of her ranting. Pausing in the doorway of the living room for a moment, he appreciated the view. A body she had, if not much conviction or willpower. Long, tanned legs swept up into curves that were made for riding. And she sure know how to make sure her assests were noticed. A denim miniskirt skimmed along her upper thigh and platform wedges defined every muscle in those legs. A flat stomach peeked out from pale blue shirt that ample cleavage was currently spilling from as she spun in his direction. The girl was asking for it, and Barrett was more than happy to deliver.
The girl marched towards him, fire in her eyes and raised her hand to slap him. He was ready though and caught her by the wrist, and he grabbed her other hand with his, just in case. The girl was a spitfire.
“Gina, baby,” he began, already invading her personal space, “you know sometimes I get carried away when I hang out with those guys and I passed out on Eric’s couch. By myself. You know that the only one I want is you. Come on, now.” The lie slipped from his lips as easily as Gina spread her legs for him every night.
