Enter the world of Westchester County, New York.
Its where obsenly rich kids eat, play, and sleep, recieveing cell phones by age six and credit cards by age ten. They learn from their mothers how to dress impressivly, and how important it is to keep up appearances at all times. They are taught the simple rules of luxury living; that is, that they can do and say whatever they wish, as long as it isn't in front of someone important. What they don't learn is how to survive the hardest thing of all- middle school.
Octavian Country Day is the most elite and exclusive girls school in the area. Anyone who's anyone sends their children there, and that can only mean one thing. Little do they know what really goes on at these prep schools. The fight for popularity only gets worse as girls grow older, but everyone knows when it hits the hardest. Seventh grade.
Every school has cliques, just some more than others. As for OCD, cliques are an esential way of Middle School life. You've got your preps, varsity and JV jocks, DSL Daters, rebels, indie art kids, outcasts, geeks, the Abercrombies, emo, and Gwen Stefani wannabees. But what no one was prepared for the Pretty Committee.
Every school has leaders; the "popular" crowd. But Octavian Country Day School has even more than that. They have the Pretty Committee. They are a group of five girls who own the 7th grade. They are rich, athletic, smart, perfectly dressed, and hitting on the brink of perfect. But they are also insecure, which can be the biggest weakness of all.
Lead by ever-popular Massie Block, followed by Alicia Riveria, Dylan Marvil, Kristen Gregory, and Claire Lyons, the Pretty Committee has ruled the school since third grade. They set the trends, date the hottest guys, posses the most fabulous wardrobes, and are the most intensley confident girls in the school.
Students struggle to keep one step ahead of the game as they fend off assults from Losers Beyond Repair and fight over Brairwood Country Day boys. They shop for the hottest designer clothes and always keep their outer cool, but backstabbing and betryal are family values
This is where you come in. As a student at either OCD or BCD, it is your responsibily to control the future of middle school royalty. Will you forever be stuck sucking up to the Pretty Committee, DSL Daters, and the Abercrombies? Or will you fight the PC for control of the seventh grade, hoping to render them usless LBRs? Its up to you to decide.
The Clique: "The only thing harder than getting in is staying in."
