Things weren't always as they seem for Liz Darcy, she worked 24/ 7 and went to school half the other time. Tonight was her second week at her favorite part time job, being a Coyote Ugly, she was pretty much one of the youngest one's there, then there was Bobby Ryan, she was gorgeous, Liz admired her so much. Liz was shy tonight for some reason, because she felt reserved that she would see Dean tonight or someone else she recognized. She had seen the movie tons of times, it was actually filmed in New Jersey at that very famous bar. Listening to the music in the dressing rooms in the back of the bar, her boss was already out there directing the girls to do whatever the hell they wanted. This bar was mainly all country, and hell she loved country, but not all the time, the other girls were alot braver then Liz was sometimes, because whenever someone asked for water she was scared to spray them because she didn't want them to get pissed off. But that was her job to do it exactly like the movie and how her boss had directed her to go and do it. She straightened herself up since her time was coming up and her shift was about to start, she had been here at least thirty minutes curling her hair and pinning it half up half down, and reapplying her lipgloss and make up in the eyes. Liz looked in the mirror and smiled, she was set. Her flat ab stomach was perfect, from the week of working out she was ready to work it again. Being a professional bartender was kinda hard because you had to learn everything all at once, and be quick, Liz was a fast learner and she wouldn't let anyone down. She would do as she was told and do it right. Her co work Tiffany was calling her to go out there, the blonde skinny anorexic looking girl, at least Liz had meat on her, she had some curves. Smirking she replied, " I'm coming! I'll be there in a minute hold on!" Liz shouted, and nodded, " Lets go do this then!" She said to herself, and took a deep breath and walked out of the dressing room and towards the front of the bar. Wow there was alot people tonight. Then the them song of the place came on, everyone was supposed to go on top of the bar, after the song by Ciara was finished the song started. Everyone was introduced, Liz was known as Lily the one from the small town texas, the country school girl that they all loved, though everyone had fake names and fake preferences anyways. She thought it was funny, the main part of the job was that you had to do kareoke and sing for the crowd, Liz was the singer too. " Alright miss Liz show your stuff, everyone this is Lilly the school girl from Texas! Let's holla for your girl, and show them how it's done!" Her boss demanded from behind them Liz looked back and nodded, the music went faster, Liz learned the dance fast, everyone cheering and screaming, the guys groaning and trying to touch, but Liz stayed away close to the girls she worked with. The song started off fast and Liz almost messed up but she didn't because she was quick, Liz then ended up shaking her stuff and shouting and howling and just dancing how they did.

Teenagers and nightclubs seem to go hand-in-hand. Why? So teenagers can go and get wasted, and get into bed with someone they don't know. They wake up the morning after, and realize the person sleeping next to them is not what they'd seen last night, and they have to sneak off without awakening them. Or they get wasted, and get into bed with someone they don't know; the morning after resulting in waking up with that person gone. Either one didn't sound all that great, unless you have some type of alcohol already in your system.
The one nightclub that seemed to get people out from near and far, was the ever-famous Coyote Ugly. It seemed to be advertised everywhere, when really it was just word-of-mouth. The best things, Teddy found, are advertised this way. But Teddy had also found something else; the worst things are advertised this way. Depends on how you want to look at it.
Well, Teddy is a nineteen-year-old male teenager. He did have a different personality than most, and he did like things that others don't. He didn't seem like the cliched male teenager, that watches porn and drinks until he passes out. But he still was one. So he did have curiosity about Coyote Ugly. He'd heard about the dancing girls, and the drinks that came whenever you wanted one. So, naturally, he got curious. Teddy never brought himself to go there, until tonight. It was a weekend, with no classes the next day. He'd be able to nurse a hangover if he needed. His roommate was probably off doing the same thing, unless she actually had been brought to her senses and was sitting at the apartment this minute. But, where Evelyn was, she had no room to nag him tomorrow. Teddy had all the advantages tonight.
So, there he was, Teddy Winborne standing outside of Coyote Ugly. He was looking at the neon sign in front. The only thing that helped you point out the bar was this sign. And of course the shockingly loud music, and the people going in and out of it. Otherwise, it looked very drab and not exciting at all. He decided to go forth into the bar though, since he'd already made it this far. Once he'd gotten inside, his eyes widened. He'd never expected such a sight. The word-of-mouth he'd heard had not prepared him. Accept, he liked it. He liked it a lot. Especially since he could see the girls dancing on the bar already.
Teddy glanced down at his outfit that he'd chosen for tonight. It wasn't really anything special. Just anything that was clean, really. A white 'The Clash' t-shirt hugged his torso, and covered about an inch of the top of his blue jeans. This shirt wasn't too tight, but it wasn't really loose either. A black belt was wrapped around his waist, but you couldn't see it since the shirt hung so low. His long-ish black hair was in it's usual style; a chunk of his bangs was pushed to one side, and almost covered his right eye, with the rest of it flipping out a very small amount at the ends. I guess you could call it 'wings'.
He meshed himself into the crowd, as he headed towards the bar. He avoided all of the guys that looked pretty drunk already. He knew what alcohol could do, and Teddy didn't much feel like fighting tonight. It was a slow process, making it from the door to the bar. Once he'd reached it, he stayed about ten feet away from it. He wanted to watch the girls dance. Besides, he couldn't order a drink when the bartenders were doing the other side of their job.

Then her boss told her to sing something and there was one song that Liz wanted to sing, to many songs popped in her head. But this was her time to shine, kinda, most girls thought this bar was disgusting because of all the perverted guys around, and Alexia always told her to not apply for the job but she did and she had too. It was odd but Liz fit in perfectly, she just felt a little left out because she wasn't so strong in her bartending just yet. Although she wouldn't singing just yet because the other girls were still dancing, and Liz just wanted to dance right now. Her boss noticed a lonely bystander towards the middle back of the bar, she looked at her boss and nodded. " Why don't you go ask that guy if he wants a drink Liz," She questioned to her. She smiled, " Sure thing boss, I'll go right over there," She said chuckling, taking her hand she gently slid off the bar counter and spotted the guy that was just quiet and seemed like he wasn't having fun. She grinned, " You alright over here being so lonely?" She asked, he was cute, very cute, gorgeous even. But she still liked Dean. " Anything I can get for you, I noticed you were looking over to get something to drink.." Another rule is that they couldn't get water, if they did she would spray them in the face with the hose. " So, you going to stand there all night and not say anything? Or you going to order something?" She smiled sweetly. She noticed how tall he was compared to her, she was up to his chin or chest, the middle of it. She couldn't help but stare into his eyes. God she hated when guys had gorgeous eyes to look at she could melt in them all day. {hehe. Thought I'd make it short, bc I don't know what to say. Sry!}

Teddy's eyes were fixed on one dancer in particular. Dark, black hair, and a cute face was all he could really see. And her body wasn't that bad to look at either. Since he was behind mostly all the other guys swarmed near the bar, he couldn't see much more than that. He let his eyes wander, looking at the rest of the dancers as well. When they went back to the black-haired one, he found she was down off the bar, and headed towards him. Well, not him persay. Headed somewhere in his direction.
He immediately looked up at the bar once more, so she wouldn't see him looking when she passed by. 'Well, this is a pretty good bar...so far, at least. Haven't had a drink yet, we'll have to see.' His thoughts were cut short, when a female voice cut through them. He found himself looking at the cute black-haired girl, who was plenty shorter than he'd imagined. "Oh, yeah. Just...seeing what there is to see." he said, and couldn't help but wink. He'd been referring to the fact that her and the other bartenders dancing on the bar.
He tilted his head down a little, seeing as he needed too. She was actually a lot shorter than he had imagined it. "Sure. A beer would be good, if you have it." he replied to her question. Her eyes, he noticed, matched her hair. Jet black hair, bright green eyes, super short...not too bad to look at, if Teddy had an opinion in the matter. He flashed her a smile, followed by a shrug. "If not that, then what do you have?"
He didn't know what was up with him tonight. He was usually very shy around girls he found attractive. But it could be the fact that he'd had a drink before coming here. He'd found that it was always good to be a little open already, before arrival to a bar. Or else you're pretty much screwed for the rest of the night.
[Eh, don't worry about it. I've seen shorter in so called 'literate' forums... Not here though, I might add.]

When Liz worked here or would continue to work here, she would get into these moods she didn't know she had. Was she wild inside? She was still exploring her sexuality most of the time anyways, girls she knew she wasn't attracted to, guys she most definitely was, she was addicted to them. Everytime she saw a hot guy, she would eventually go over to them and just ask them how there doing or join them, or make small talk. That's how you usually get to know someone when your on a date then with someone. "Oh, yeah. Just...seeing what there is to see." The somewhat average tall guy said to her, as she looked up, she still wore her three to four inch heels and she was still short. " Really? Anything you like?" She teased and winked right back at him. " Because I saw you staring at me up there like I was some piece of meat, but then again, you are kinda cute," She joked a little more. This guy was hot, really hot. Liz looked around at her boss up behind the counter and the other girls on the bar, she wasn't sure if she was supposed to go outside with him and talk, but she wouldn't mind a break later on. "Sure. A beer would be good, if you have it." She giggled just like a school girl would, that was pretty much her act anyways. Though today she didn't dress it. Tomorrow night was her test, and she would have to dress like the school girl, she did once a week, since she started three weeks ago. She forgot if it was two or three, she shrugged, and he said this time, "If not that, then what do you have?" She glanced over at the bar. " Anything you want, and yes we do have beer sweetheart," She grinned most of the girls usually called there guys pet names, and people that ordered drinks in front of the counter. It was how things just worked. " So do you have anything in mind," She asked in a seductive, and then with another whisper, she leaned forwards, and said, " God your gorgeous," She said to him and placed a hand on his arm. Feeling up his supposedly biceps, nice. She liked a guy who worked out. {Hehe. Sorry. I had too! }

Teddy pulled himself up off the wall he was standing at, seeing as this girl actually wanted to talk and not just get his drink order. He'd been suspecting that she'd get his order, and take off again. But maybe it was their job, to make small talk before scurrying off. Who knew? Well, Teddy didn't. He hadn't worked at Coyote Ugly, and probably never would. He let his eyes wander a little, to see what kind of outfit the small girl in front of him had on. Sure, he'd seen it when she was up on the bar. But now it was a closer angle... 'Not bad, I must say...' he thought, before turning his attention up to the bar.
Although, not long after that, she spoke again. So he looked back at the little lady. "Well, I guess you caught me then. It's not hard to like what I see." he said, and chuckled softly. "And trust me, little lady, you're not a piece of meat." he added, and smiled at her, showing off his bright white teeth. He kept his eyes on her this time. "So I heard all the bartenders here had a role they played. What do you play?" he asked, curiously.
Hmm..what did he want? What kind of drink to start the night off? He had no idea, quite yet. Most definetly something though. "Yeah, just a beer's good for the moment." He made a note that she'd called him sweetheart. He wanted to find out if that was their job, or not. Maybe if he talked to one of the other bartenders, he'd find out. Of course, not directly. Just see if they called him something. The next words that passed the girl's lips shocked him a little, but he didn't show it. "You're not so bad yourself," he replied, and winked at her once more. "But I guess you knew that, since you saw me looking." he added, a smile playing on his lips.

As they talked Liz checked him out a few times, but before her boss Bobby could say anything for her to come back and work. But she was working. "Well, I guess you caught me then. It's not hard to like what I see." She smirked nodding, "I guess I did.....But are you sure your looking hard enough?" She grinned and shook her head just teasing, and playfully tapped him on the shoulders. "I'm just playing with you," She answered him and then looked around as she nudged him towards the outside for a bit. She needed some fresh air.
"And trust me, little lady, you're not a piece of meat. So I heard all the bartenders here had a role they played. What do you play?" She grinned, "Thanks about that. I should hope I'm not...But the role, I don't know if I should tell you...But I'm supposed to be Lily, and I'm a country school girl, but I don't look country at all," She snickered, "This is only sometimes, and we don't really kareoke, if someone wants us too. It's just the bar thing really, which was we all do, and dance to music. But yea, that's what I roleplay," She snickered and winked at him as she crossed her arms and looked abouts to see if the back area was open.
"Yeah, just a beer's good for the moment. You're not so bad yourself. But I guess you knew that, since you saw me looking," She blushed when he winked at her. "Alright, well if you want to go back in there or I could get you one real quick, and thanks I guess......" She blushed again this time a bit more, because she liked it when guys complimented her that way. Especially when she already knew they were looking at her. "So what's your name? Your a regular here?" She questioned, maybe he was, if he was she hadn't seen him before. He was really cute.

Teddy found himself being slowly nudged towards the outside. He liked where this was going, which was a little odd for this boy. He blamed it all on the alcohol he'd consumed already. It was a nasty thing, yet tons of people, including him, drank it anyways. If anything, that is odd. "Looking hard enough is what I do, little lady." he replied, and chuckled softly. He was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to hear his chuckle, since there was enough noise already.
"Lily the country school girl. Hmm, I'd like to see you in that outfit." he stated, and smiled toothily at her. Like most other guys on the planet, he liked the role of school girl. To think hard about it, it was a little weird to even think about that kind of thing. But he couldn't control what he liked and didn't like. And he did like the school girl role. "When's the next time you'll be dressed as your role?" he asked, and smirked a little. He probably wouldn't show up just to see her in it, but it was still flirting, right?
Teddy let his eyes rest on this girl's face, as she spoke again. "Well, how about you get me a beer, and then we'll go back in there?" he offered. With that, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a twenty dollar bill. "Get yourself a drink too." he added, as he slipped the bill into one of her hands. He let their hands touch a couple seconds too long, before pulling it back and giving her another smile. She was attractive, and apparently available. All of it was just too tempting to not flirt. "And no, I've actually never been here accept tonight."

"Looking hard enough is what I do, little lady." She grinned, she didn't know what to say about that comment, maybe it was all too much for her, that he was just flirting and didn't know what to do or say. Because for some reason she felt kinda taken with Dean. But not fully yet. "Lily the country school girl. Hmm, I'd like to see you in that outfit." She blushed and shook her head shrugging her shoulders, " We shall see about that, you might get a private show afterwards," She bit her lip, god why did she say that? She acted as if she was asking for it, but she was asking for it. "When's the next time you'll be dressed as your role?" She shrugged again, she really didn't know about that one, she wasn't sure if they got to do it again. Only when someone new was hired? She didn't know the full rules yet. " Erm I'm not sure, but I do have my costume at home, and I think it was only a one time thing, so you probably just missed it, sorry!" She teased him, and then when the music continued the girls were still up on the bar dancing. She loved dancing, and she was quite good at it, and wasn't sure how many times she would have to dance again on the bar. It just made her feel strange though on top of a bar. Oh well. No one will stop her. "Well, how about you get me a beer, and then we'll go back in there?" He extended his hand and handed her the bill for the drinks, and she couldn't help but hold it back in return for a little while too. Oh wow. Chemistry. "Get yourself a drink too. And no, I've actually never been here accept tonight." She bit her lip and nodded, turning around she walked back into the bar, after holding his hand. That felt really nice actually. " I'll be back," She told him as he was outside, she went back into the bar, and it had already been a few hours into the night, and Liz didn't really stay late on these nights, since it was her second week. Bobby had told her she could go home after her last drink, she smiled and got the beer for the guy and a glass of vodka and cranberry for her. She walked back outside in her shirt and jeans and red boots, she was a bit cold. " Here you go," She said to him as she reached him and handed him the drink. " Sorry about that, oh my boss said it was ok for me to go home, it's getting late, and I have to study. I mean, well yea, crap. By the way, my name's Liz..." She said to him flashing her sparkling green eyes at him, as she took a few sips of her glass too. {Bleh sorry. It's pretty bad.}

Teddy heard what this girl had to say about a private show. That made him smile, just picturing how something like that might go. No, he wasn't trying to be a pervert. But this girl was attractive, and he already had alcohol pumping through his system. "Private show, hey?" he asked, and winked. "Might be something I'd like to see," he added, with a sly smile.
The fact that he'd missed her schoolgirl role, didn't really phase him much. She looked good tonight, and that was really all he was worried about. At least, for the moment. From what he was guessing; because that's all that happened with him at bars, the two of them would flirt and part ways. And then, of course, never see each other again. "Ah. Oh well," he said, and shrugged lightly.
The thoughts going through his head at that moment were answered soon enough. He'd been wondering when she'd go and get his beer, but of course the next thing she said was 'I'll be back.' Which probably meant she'd come back with a drink for both him and her. And it could also mean, it'd be a nice icebreaker. Not that the ice hasn't already been broken by the two of them flirting, but it'd keep the conversation flowing easily. Once she'd returned, he accepted his drink and took a small sip almost right away.
"Oh, so you gotta go then?" he asked curiously, with a small shrug. He thought for sure this was her way of saying a 'get-outta-my-face' kind of thing. But then she told him her name, so maybe it wasn't the case. Who knew, really? "Well, nice to meet you, Liz. I'm Teddy." he added, with another shrug. With that, he lifted the beer to his lips, taking more than just a small sip.

"Private show, hey?" he asked, and winked. "Might be something I'd like to see," She giggled, " Hmmm.....Well you just might get what you want," She teased continously, oh yes that Liz was a naughty one. And she liked it like this sometimes, when she meets the guys, but she hadn't really ever slept with someone she just met. It was usually just her friends, yes she remembered she and Trev even kissed in the past, but that was long gone,, she smiled at the thought as she walked closer to him. " Ah. Oh well," he told her, " Yea I suppose oh well...Wait what do you mean by that? You wanted to see me like that?" She said to him with a slight smirk and a blush of her cheeks as they got a bit pink. "Oh, so you gotta go then? Well, nice to meet you, Liz. I'm Teddy." No she didn't want to leave, she let out a nervous chuckle, " No I don't have to leave from you...I mean well would you like to come over? My roommates are out tonight," She asked him, but then she was still questioning this whole night. Would they ever see each other again? " So Teddy which part of Huntley do you live in? Downtown or the subburbs?" She asked, the sub barbs were more of a quiet area neighborhood, where in downtown, there was always so much going on. The lights never shut off, and people were always in and out. " What do you say? What shall we do?" She asked him as well, she wanted to get to know him a little better. {Eh sucky post again. }

Teddy took another sip of his beer, glancing around absently before he heard the female speak. Her words got him a little excited, before he grinned and replied. "Yeah. Well, if I do get what I want, I'm excited for it." he said casually, with a slightly lopsided smile. With that, he pulled the bottle to his lips and took another sip. He needed a lot of alcohol in him, before he'd do what he was about to do. He guessed that this would happen now. And if it didn't, he'd still have the alcohol in him and it'd still be a good time. He raised one eyebrow curiously, looking at Liz. "And what if I did?" he asked teasingly, followed by a smirk. It was true, he did want to see her dressed up. But I guess nobody got everything they wanted. He let his eyebrow drop, almost right away after he realized it was still raised. He cleared his throat a little, to fill in the silent gaps between them. Not that there were many; and they sure didn't last long. The fact that Elizabeth had mentioned that her roommate was out tonight, made him even more interested. It could turn out to be a good night after all. "Well, how can I say no then?" he asked, smiling at her. "Are you in a dorm? Or do you have an apartment?" He asked, just assuming she went to Rutherford. "Wait, do you even attend Rutherford?" he added, chuckling softly. "What do I say? Well, I can't really pass up that offer. So I say we go back to your place." he replied, with another wink. He followed that up with another gulp of his beer. Finally, he kneeled down and set it on the concrete, to leave it there. He didn't want much more of it anyways. When he got to his feet again, he looked at Liz; awaiting her replies to all that he'd said. ooc; I actually don't know where Teddy's apartment is. & I have no energy to find out, especially since Mushu isn't on at the moment. That's why he ignored the question. Just to let you know.
