And Lexi wasn't disappointed, as she saw Dom's smile when she told him how she felt, and his grin, when she wanted to stay. So he did feel the same way as she did, at least, what she said to him made him very happy. And she felt good inside, when she made him happy. Did that mean she felt something around him, something very strong? Oh, yes, that was very, very true. As he was kissing her back, her eyes drift closed, and she lets herself go in the moment. His fingertips on the cool skin of her face made the back of her neck tingle, and she leans into the kiss, barely noticing anything else going on around her. She rests one small hand on his chest, and the other is on the back of his neck, while she runs her fingers through his short hair.
As he pulls back, her eyes open, a soft, dreamy look to them. A soft smile, and she tries to keep up with the kisses, they were coming quickly now. She couldn't get enough of those kisses, and she tries to say something to him in between them. "Oh, you think... I look... mmm... sexy? And yeah... I did... I spent... mmhmm... I hoped... this was okay." As he finally started serving the meal that he had worked so long to prepare, Lexi took a moment to catch her breath, and sip at her wine, watching Dom from under partly closed eyelids. He seemed so graceful in his movements, and she could watch him all night like that. When he is carrying plates out to the coffee table, she starts to move, trying to follow him into the living room. "Can I help? And yes, your table looks like a library. I might need a library card just to be able to sit down." Grinning at her little joke, and holding her wineglass in one hand, she walks over to the couch, helping with anything that he would let her carry. She stands and waits, not wanting to start with out him. But the wonderful aroma of everything was making it very hard to wait.

He grinned. "Oh, it's definately okay."
He set everything on the table and and sat down, not before he placed his hand on the small of Alexia's back and sat her down. "No, you're the guest. I do all the slave work. I'm the host afterall". He chuckled and gave her a smooth kiss on her lips as he sat down, his fingers grazing her smooth cheek. He reached his hand up, to the back of his neck, rubbing it. "Yeah, I was doing a bit of research. A little girl fell ill with something. We don't know what it is yet, so we're all trying to find out. Sorry, you must think I'm a slob or something." He lifted up her plate and placed it on her lap, and put his own on his lap too. He speared a peice of penne with his fork, putting it in his mouth. He spotted the remote control on the coffee table and reached over for it.
He pointed it at the TV and switched it on, flicking through a few channels. he stopped for a while, at the show "Life As We Know It." a show, that got cancelled after a season. He thought it was pretty good for a cacelled show. A few of his friends told him he had a resemblence to one of the charcaters, Dino. Glancing across at Alexia, he noticed she looked like one of the characters. Ah, Jackie her name was.
Okay, stop with the weird thoughts. He continued to press the channel up button, flicking through all the other channels. He didn't seem to find anything interesting to watch. When he saw the same number again, he knew there wasn't anything good on, even if he didn have cable. The day he invits the girl that he's infactuated with, yo'd expect something good to be on. But no. Sigh. He'd have to rummage through his movie collection. No, no porn. He placed his plate on the table, getting up and heaing over to the cupboard. He ran his fingers over the spines of the cases. "What kind of flicks you into? Horror? Romance? Comedy? Comic turned movie? I don't think horror is a good choice, since we're eating and all." Oh god, he was rambling again. He turned to face herm his eye which were now a more blue than green or brown darted up and down her body.
He had made a good decision in finally confessing his feelings to her. He knew it.

Lexi smiled back at Dom, now that they had everything out in the open, it felt good that he was paying so much attention to her. As he insisted on doing everything, she rolled her brown eyes, and sat down, slightly surprised as he gave her another kiss, and touched her cheek. He seemed slightly embarrassed at the condition of his normal table, and she sat forward a little, a little concerned, when he explained what was going on. "Oh, no, not at all. I mean, I know you work long hours, and you probably don't get to spend much time here. And it helps to get everything spread out, I do that sometimes on my roommate's bed, since she isn't around anymore." Smiling up at Dom, she takes the plate that he hands her, and says "Thank you."
Turning to the sound of the TV when it was switched on, Lexi starts to eat a little of the pasta, and she looks at Dom with an appreciative smile on her face. "This is sooo good, Dom! I never knew you could cook like this. So, what else have you been hiding from me?" She flashes him a slightly cheesy grin, before turning back to look at the TV. Catching a glimpse of the show that he paused at, she glances at him, then at the TV again. Shrugging her shoulders at the uncanny resemblance, she wonders what they might do after eating. Not that she was going to rush eating, it was so much of a delight to enjoy the meal he had worked so hard to prepare for her.
Lexi watched Dom as he got up to pick out a movie for them to watch. He was acting like a little kid, and she thought it was funny. Chuckling a little, she doesn't want him to get too upset about trying to make things perfect for her. Just being there with him was almost enough for her, especially after they had confessed their feelings for each other. Thinking for only a moment, she replies to his suggestions. "Um, comedy or romance sounds good to me, Dom. You pick something you like, and come sit back down. You're making me a little tired just watching you, where did you get all that energy from?" Smiling as she sipped a little at her wine, Lexi didn't want him to go too far out of his way for her. And the way he was looking at her was making her feel that she had all of his attention on her. But she didn't mind, especially when his eyes were that wonderful color, and she could enjoy looking at them now, without making him feel nervous.
