Wow. It sounds insane.
I don't like daylight savings at all. It's a waste, I think, since our society doesn't exactly "profit" off it anymore. At least not here in the States.

since when was daylight savings profitable? lol. i don't think its a waste.. i don't know exactly how it works because i get forget everything and get confused until the next time someone explains it to me lol. im bad like that. but i still don't reckon its a waste lol. like why is it a waste and stuff? all you gotta do is change your clocks. it isn't that much of a hassle [although a lot of west australians seem to complain a lot about it being a huge hassle. its like they're comparing it to having to mow the lawns every single day. ugh they're so annoying. with their stupid accents.] umm anyways.. yeh thats it lol.

During WWII, DST was a way to alleviate hardships from wartime coal shortages and air raid blackouts. So it used to be useful.
Plus, I hate "spring forward." Losing an hour of sleep is totally lame.

losing an hour of sleep is definitely lame. but i can sleep in till whenever so that doesn't really apply to me haha. but it still sux. i have to wake up early tomorrow to go to the kiwi shop then boost juice, then the movies, then boost juice, then home, then go to my mums bf's house for the weekend and just lie in the spa until sunday. it doesn't sound all that bad but i have to get up at like 8:30am. *sigh* i never wake up that early unless i have to lol im so lazy xP

Haha, niiiice. The life of relaxation - gotta love it. <3
I was talking with my boyfriend and his family the other day, and if I ever win the lottery, you can bet I will never be applying for a job again. LOL. I think I'm lazy, lol. But I mean, I'd probably spend more time writing (I want to publish a book one day) and do a lot more of the things I care about that don't pay enough to do for a living. You know?
My boyfriend, on the other hand, said not working would drive him crazy. He's insane. LOL.

lmao ur bf does sound insane lol. who wants to work? certainly not me xD
i want to drive trucks or be in movies or something like that. i woulda want to be a mechanic but my mum refuses to let me apply for an apprenticeship saying its just not me. even though it is. she thinks she knows me better then she actually does but i cant change her mind. im constantly reminding her that she cant make my decisions once i turn 18 and i'll do what i want to do lol. i bet my dad would be all gud for me wanting to be a mechanic.
gah mums are so annoying sometimes. the sad thing is that my mum is actually pretty cool lol. cept for when it comes to me being a mechanic.

I know, seriously. He's always on the move, though. But I really do think that if he had the option of staying home and playing computer games and spending time outside all day, he'd probably go for it. Haha. He'd just need a kind of job that he only goes to, like, once a week. Lmao.
I couldn't imagine being a mechanic! I adore cars, strangely enough, but not enough to fix them or anything like that. That's something the boy and my grandfather are good at. They've saved me so much money with my little Nissan, lol. Do you think you'll seriously get an apprenticeship once you're eighteen? That would be pretty neat.

nah i probably wont get it lol. i done work experience at a mechanics place when i was 15 and it was really hard work. well it was the first day. the days after that they were getting me to mop up and saying that i was mopping the floors wrong even though theres only one fricken way to mop the floors, and thats with a mop. i was getting the shit off the floor so why were they complaining? then i had to get the oil off the fricken car hoist thing, and that took me FOREVER! and then they got me to get their fricken lunch in my lunch break which left me no time to eat my own lunch and chat with my friends and then they got me to clean their coffee cups with stained rags which only made them more dirty and ugh. it wasn't good. they were giving me their bum jobs. the first day was awesome. i was changing tyres, checking tyre pressure and air and then changing oil filters and cleaning the pistons and just so much awesome stuff. then that shit. thats why my mum thinks its not me. because i was sick of getting yelled at for no reason. i know the boss didn't like me i got a bad vibe from him. but mum just said that it was just me.

That's not right. Some people don't know how to treat employees, or even apprentices or interns. I'm a marketing intern right now for a company that is absolutely ridiculous. I hate the company and the morals it claims to go by, purely because it is all false. I get pretty antsy when someone says one thing and does another. It also bugs me that we are hiring thousands of illegal immigrants, paying the field workers practically nothing, and they get no healthcare. And, the benefits department amazes me every day with their lack of concern for the office employees. I've considered quitting multiple times just because of those reasons and they don't even affect me directly.
I stay because I love my bosses. <3 They adore me and the whole marketing department is just hilarious. We crack up all the time. I'm ridiculously lucky with how wonderful my bosses are. They are more like friends than employers.
But yeah, I'd advise not returning to that same place. Are there other places around that offer apprenticeships or anything? Even if it's just working for a place that does that kind of thing, you could definitely work your way up.

well considering the place that i done my work experience at is about a 3-4 day drive away i reckon there'll be some place close lol. my mum seems to be pretty good friends with out mechanic and he seems a good enough guy but i really dont think mum will let me. even after i turn 18. she'll be all "YOU'RE NOT FUCKEN DOING THAT! I TOLD YOU ALREADY! ITS NOT YOU!!!" and i've talked to her heaps about going back to new zealand to do a mechanics course, because the courses there are free for under 18's. we actually get paid travel money to go there and from lol. but she said if i was going back to new zealand i'd be going back to school or doing a different course but definitely not the G&H Mechanics course. she's eeebil.
